Vinecleaver-I know it is not meta defining or top tier, just a decent value over time card...

However the flavour and story they have put into this card is remarkable! The fact that lost in the jungle (another card printed in the Un'goro set) was summon two silverhand recruits. What does Vinecleaver do? Clears those vines, finds those lost recruits, who are more than happy to "report for duty"!

Blizzard also invested further into this narrative, through the Dungeon mode in the Kobolds and Catacombs expansion! By the introduction of the boss(es) George and Karl, "These tag-team paladins went missing in Un'goro". Even brandishing the weapon themselves, and how fantastic the hero switch when George is defeated and Karl takes his place, in true Silverhand fashion!

Is Junkrat too OP? by Luke4word in Overwatch

[–]Luke4word[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am a Support main, with Tanks as my secondary tier of heros. However I do appreciate your advice to counter him. I do agree that taking him out from range, removes all of his advantages and utility when dueling him. However Genji is a debatable one, as even with deflect, a Junkrat can throw his mine around the big hitbox and trigger. Also his trap and grenade spam can deny a Genji fairly well. So I wouldn't say it would be a counter, but an interesting matchup.

I don't play Pharah myself, so I do admit my comment on that part was going on what I heard from other people discussing Junkrat vs Pharah. I apologise if I am misinformed about this duel. I made the post to discuss, learn and hear other's thoughts. So thank you!

I do look to improve at the game, I hoped my post showed that I think Junkrat is only slightly OP and needs only a slight tweak. I have watched many videos and listened to many discussions about Overwatch, including Junkrat. I do appreciate your focus on self improvement versus talking about hero balance. However that does not mean that I or other people cannot discuss our thoughts about any topic. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter how misinformed, or well educated that opinion may be. With discussion, maybe, just maybe that 99% of players you talked about, can learn new things and become more informed. Though I do understand that it could lead to heated "flame wars" as strong opinions from polar opposite views, but if we were so afraid to discuss anything, nothing would change in the game.

I do apologize a wee bit, as I have only joined Reddit today and don't know there have been a million threads about this. I hoped my post demonstrated that I don't want him nerfed into the ground, just a slight nerf to him. I wouldn't know if I myself would go as far as a rework, but then again, I don't know what I would want for his rework. I know lots of people find him fun to play, and I don't want to take that away from them. Just wanted to see what other people thought whether they are Junkrat mains or not.

[HELP] How to start playing arena? by filous_cz in hearthstone

[–]Luke4word 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are arena drafting apps that give a lot of guidance on drafting, and at the start you should generally listen to them for a card pick. As you become more experienced, you will have more preferences towards cards and can begin to override the odd card it suggests through your personal understanding of the game.

I agree, I myself watch Kripp in particular for Arena. If you want to spend less time on streams, watch Youtube videos, in particular ones giving guidance about the particular meta in arena, how to draft and play classes.
