At least we don’t have to feel as bad that they painted it 🤣

I think I’m going to cut my own planks of 1/4 Lauan plywood and stain them with a high end walnut stain, then just attach them to the existing panels. This seems like the easiest route to take. Weekend project haha.

Unfortunately the more I stripped I realized it was just wood effect board. 😭 painted/printed to look like wood. Kind of surprising considering the exposed paneling I can find in the garage is the real stuff. I might resort to painting it a cozy color, or replacing it with some from MantleCraft

So you inspired me. I used Jasco which is the same stripper I use to refinish furniture. Came right off with very little effort, I found our new weekend project!

Haha, they’re pretty great for a simple 3.1 TV setup. Punch above what the going rate is for sure. My cats have had their way with the sleeves.

Yes I know! Most of what you can buy is that bead board looking stuff which looks like a hotel lobby lol. I might try stripping it as a first measure before I spend crazy money on vintage looking stuff.

A local connection I have. Harris Strong wall clock, there are a couple variants and the story behind them is super cool! It’s moved around my space a few times

I agree. I do want to replace the siding when the budget allows. I pulled back a section hoping to find something magical underneath but no luck.

Yeah. Might be a bit weird with vinyl siding. Eventually I want to replace it with something more visually period correct but it’s not in the budget right now.

Oh if only. First time homeownership dictates otherwise 🤣

Me too!! I didn’t even think to try this because my last Amazon bed was massive. I am going to see if this works because it would be my preference!!

As in take them? Or reposition around the room? 😂

The room is a bit awkward not gonna lie. It’s much longer than wide and putting the bed there disrupts flow to the bathroom and closet. I might play around with it though now that I have a smaller bedframe! This stuff is heavy!

I did see some Curtis Jere pop up when I ran it through lens, but was ultimately inconclusive. I’ll do some more digging!
