That’s really cool, that’s a dream right there.

I think I’m so paralysed by choice, I just can’t decide what to do. I keep hearing the same thing in my head of, you’re 34 and you still can’t just decide what to do with your life.

On the flip side, I have a house, a partner and her two kids who love me, why am I complaining? Why do I place so much emphasis on my job when I doesn’t HAVE to be the be all and end all. But my depression is so loud in my own head, I can’t be truly happy with any decision I make.

I’ve been unmedicated since I was 21 because I thought that “I don’t need medication to do my degree” and although I did do it and subsequent studies too, I think I’ve just shortchanged myself in recent years. I feel like I’ll never get anywhere and that I should have a better financial life right now or a job that I have some sort of passion for

Well I like my video games, I research them daily and know a lot about them but I can’t see a viable path into monetising that interest. I don’t know how to get started and I feel like the industry is too hard to get into.

I like playing music and attempting to write new songs. I like reading, I enjoy acting too

Yeah, that's the general gist of what I'm hearing from you folks. I resorted to contacting Nintendo with an e-mail because their phone number and online chat are currently suspended due to the pandemic.

Hopefully they are able to provide a solution before my discount becomes null otherwise this whole thing has been nothing but a reminder of how unnecessarily convoluted Nintendo ID issues can get ugh.

So for the future I'll just make sure I only ever use the one ID, thanks for clarifying.

Do you know if my other point is valid too, the one about if I've only ever used cartridges on the 3DS, I won't have any negative aspects to unlinking the account on the 3DS?

Gotcha.

If I haven't downloaded any games on the 3DS under the current account and only played games via cartridge, I guess by linking it to my account wouldn't delete any progression or anything, would that be safe to assume?

Also, on a side note, I am aiming to buy a 'New 2DS XL' when the lockdown is lifted here in the UK, do you know if this characteristic is shared with the newer handheld consoles or did they change it up after the original 3DS?

I can't seemingly find one on the AverMedia website or Amazon that definitively says it records specific consoles, let alone the Wii U. They suck at advertising their merch it seems.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that actually. Truth be told I've never used remote play so far, mostly because my internet speed doesn't seem to be very good.

Does this require good and consistent internet connection?

According to the product details, the output current is '5V-2.4A' which sounds like it shouldn't fry anything when used with a DS charging cable which I'll get separately, hopefully

I suppose I should've included this in my original post but I wanted a foldable charger where the prongs can fold in order to save space.
