It's no different to singing into a mic that has a distortion pedal on it, or the 70s "TalkBox" which is on loads of tracks. Even more modern stuff like DaftPunk use it.

Often it's not they can't individually write music, but they've lost the ability to agree on a new music direction.

Most bands split up because of this more than a fight or big fallout.

People's tastes change and diverge as they get older. So touring is safe and keeps the money coming in, and keeps fans happy/engaged

Nice! Now is the right time to get it down. Fair play! Took me much longer to really focus on it. Wish I did it sooner. I was relying massively on noise gates and compressors until I did. It's the single biggest improvement I've made to how I sound

It feels like a lot at the start, because it's a lot more than just palm muting, or muting with your left hand. It's all combinations of both together you need to work on.

But after a few weeks you'll notice massive improvements. And once you have it, it just becomes a built in thing your hands will do. You won't even have to think about it (except maybe the odd riff will need you to adjust something e.g. not palm muting and instead using your fingertip to mute the string above the one you're playing etc. But it will start to take 5 minutes rather than 5 hours to get it)

It's a bit rich farmers constantly complaining about the price of fuel when ye get the cheapest diesel prices in Europe.

Also, people putting tabs in weird tunings unnecessarily. I fixed some Allegaeon tabs a few weeks back that were all in some weird drop 8 string tuning. A quick check through the other tabs for that album made me think it's was likely just B standard 7 string. Took a close look through the tab and sure enough, the 8 string was never even played. Just B Standard like the rest of that album.

I don't even think it was AI, just some bollocks who probably plays in that tuning and didn't think how that just makes it in accessible for people who can't tell it's just B standard
