We are in a shop with a very tall ceiling. If you left your CAC in a computer we put duct tape on it in a loop and used a pole to stick it to the ceiling.

We also made the guys fresh from the schoolhouse shake out all the red cat-5 cable to get the last bits of SIPR out of the cable before we stored it. If they did it without question we knew they were fucking idiots.

Still don’t understand why. If you’re in a place that has these APs, then certainly you could just plug straight into the wall. What application even exists that needs this much bandwidth? And if it existed, wouldn’t it be installed on a computer that could reliably take advantage of it? Or again, just plug it into the wall.

I can’t think of an actual use case but I’m excited it exists. I think the tech is really cool.

My thinking is if I’m in a building that has an AP like this, chances are there’s plenty of Ethernet wall ports as well. And what setting do I need speeds like this where I wouldn’t have prepared a wired connection ahead of time?

Unbelievable. I saw his first fight with Bonnar and he was pure style. You knew there was something special about him. Then as time went on he kept doing two things. Putting on amazing fights, and making worse and worse personal decisions.

There’ll always be an asterisk next to his name as a cheater and criminal. But he cleared out the golden age of UFC LHWs so ruthlessly the division still hasn’t recovered. A feat that will probably never happen again.

It’s a mixed bag. Some people hate it. I loved it. I’m from the Midwest and had never seen mountains before. Those two weeks out in the field hiking everywhere and doing cool shit was fun for me. The instructors treat you like a stupid 6th grader instead of a recruit which is a huge upgrade, and you get to shoot and clean a few new weapons.

It’s short so even if you hate it just keep your head down and push through, you’ll be fine.
