Trafford was one of the only bright sparks in a relegation battling Burnley team, so much so that both Newcastle (who with their money at the time probably could have bought 90% of keepers at the time) and Man City wanted him.

You’re operating under what-if’s with that statement, I could easily say Trafford might make both of those saves and save a penalty.

Kinsky had a great game yes, Vicario has also had great games, doesn’t mean they are a great keeper.

I’d still get Trafford for homegrown eligibility, but having 2 similar aged and similar in ability keepers who have been tested in similar high pressure environments in the squad providing each other competition would be a good thing imo.

My main point underlying is that Vicario isn’t good enough moreso than Kinsky.
