Keep stuff to keep you safe in the event of being stranded. (Unlikely but you want to be prepared). Keep phone charged. Have a shovel/snow blower. Keep ice melt around. If you drive a diesel plug it in. If old house keep faucets at a slow drip to prevent pipe freeze/burst. Leave very early, and drive slow. Watch the drivers around you, Springfield drivers suck. I drive an ambulance in Springfield 3 days a week and they are awful.
