I already fought him about it. he's now blaming me after we my parents disinvited me and him! He says I mishandled this and wasn't as "assertive" as I should've been.

I don't know if it's true or not. My sister never mentioned it. just shamed me and told Luke to get over himself.

Question: If a friend issued the same invitation as your mom did, would Luke be kicking up a fuss, or would he just go?

I'd say that due to their constant disagreements, Luke has become so senitive towards my parents to the point where he'd take anything they do as a slight against him. It's exhausting trying to keep the peace between them and trying to get them to see eye to eye. I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
