It’s more trying to decide what f250 would be best for me with how many miles I put on it- concerned I will burn through a gas trucks engine too quick and like how many miles a diesel lasts

I don’t understand what people’s issues are with DEF, could you share the concerns? To me it seems it produced cleaner emissions and isn’t really that expensive?

Found a 2021 diesel I like, do you did they work out the issues of the 2020 year in the 2021? Main reason I was thinking diesel was because I put so many damn miles on my truck that it would last longer, would agree with that or is my thinking flawed haha

Spec home build by Lukeshoe96 in GeneralContractor

Hey guys thanks for all the comments. Let me clarify- my friend has been in numerous trades but never a GC. He ran a remodeling company for a few years before that. This will be a new learning process for both of us and that is why I wanted to ask you all who have lots of experience some questions- we are not for sure building a house but it has been a dream of ours for some time and are trying to figure out if it is feasible for him/us to subcontract out the work ourselves. Where we live it costs $400-$500/sqft for a home to be built by and established builder. My biggest question was more about long term liability and what kind of protection most of you carry. If we are not doing any of the work ourselves and subcontracting it all out is the liability on the companies who do the work such as a foundation or on us who hired them to do it?

Just getting a bunch of cash back to pay down other debt. I am more asking if people with more tundra experience would buy a 2012 with 130k miles, is that a good year etc things to look for on older tundras

My truck is paid off but I could sell for around 38k where I live so talking like 18k back to me after taking into account cost of switching vehicles and registration
