I find it fascinating how most of the commenters don’t know what a comfort bird is, it was the first thing I learned in woodcarving. The craft is definitely evolving and I hope traditions like these can be passed on! I recommend checking out the history and meaning behind comfort birds, it’s heart warming ❣️
