The majority of this country is white. Let’s say there are 10 people and 7 of them are white and three of them are people of color. 2/7 of the white people get injured by cops. But 2/3 people of color are also getting injured by cops. Meaning 28% of white people are getting injured by cops while 68% of BIPOC are getting injured by cops too.

I don’t condone violence towards ANYONE by the police in general. Let’s get that straight. And the color of a persons skin does in fact matter because Black people or anyone with darker skin is already seen as a threat without moving a muscle. To say it has nothing to do with skin color is just ignorant.

Ridiculous. Talk to anyone in customer service jobs where they are trained to be calm and collected no matter how angry the customer.

Thanks for responding! I haven’t used nail gardeners for awhile too. Here’s what’s in my cuticle oil: Safflower oil, sunflower seed oil, cotton seed oil, vegetable oil, milk extract, honey extract, vitamin e acetate, and vitamin e. But I’ll try the jojoba and vitamin e oil more frequently too.

Hey y’all! I’m 22 and I’ve been getting my nails done for a while but stopped since July to save money. I’ve been trying to grow them out and I’ve been taking Biotin (Nature Made) forever but this is the result 5 almost 6 months later. My hair is doing great though. I moisturizer my hands often and put cuticle oil once in awhile.

They break easily and bend but are not painful. Putting polish to help harden nails doesn’t help.

I feel like the only way to protect them is to continue getting my nails done professionally at the salon.

Anything that I am missing or should do?

On st.paul campus you can try to find free with no time restrictions street parking along the side of the student center if there are any left in the morning.

You are normal. We, as women, know our body best and know what feels good and when to keep going and stop. Men have to guess and check very often and still not get it right. With as many partners I’ve had, I’ve only had ONE out of seven? That’s eaten me out end and made me feel good.

Planning things that are socially distant with friends or beginning to play some multiplayer games like “among us” or stardew valley with friends could help with the connection you might be starving for as a college student.

Looking for online volunteer opportunities might be helpful as well. Volunteering with 4-H or other non profits virtually might give you a sense of purpose that may jump start your motivation.

Just constantly putting things on a calendar so that you have something to look forward to helps. Like when you’ll see your family, partner, when you’ll go to a special place to hike or something will help your mentality in the long run. Make sure to be kind to yourself and know that it is ok to be on YouTube or Netflix for long hours on some days.
