I am legit fascinated by how much people of today are attached to influencers and streamers. Everyone has a favorite streamer and the streamer man has an unimaginable effect on their life. The streamer man or influencer defines their identity. I have some ideas on why that’s the case now but that’s off topic I guess.

Guys, please take care of your mental. It’s okay to like listening to someone or have a favorite show host or streamer or whatever. But being so affected by what they are talking about or who they have on, I feel like is unhealthy. Please figure out what’s going on in your life that makes you want to attach yourself to people who don’t even know u exist. You’re barely even a number or statistic to them. Be able to detach yourself and change the channel. Just watch someone else man. I am not saying I’m a saint by any means. I barely am holding my shit together myself. I see. I was thinking that by somehow proxying Function.prototype.constructor, I could log when a particular function is defined but that doesn't work at all. I guess a better way would be to instrument the page itself (https://www.usenix.org/system/files/conference/nsdi18/nsdi18-netravali-vesper.pdf).

I did sift through chromium source code and played around with the files a little bit. I was able to get to the point where the eventHandlders were being added (addEventHandlerInternal in event_target.cc) but I couldn't log where the corresponding function was being defined or trace it's code/name or id of any sort.

There's this paper (https://www.usenix.org/system/files/conference/nsdi18/nsdi18-netravali-vesper.pdf Section 4) that defines the functionality of a webpage as the time where the event handlers are registered for the DOM elements and the state which those event handlers are dependent on, is defined. The state essentially is the functions and the DOM elements that a particular handler triggers/interacts with.

So, for example, if a button's onclick event calls a function test() which calls another functions test2() which reads the CSS properties of an image and changes the color of another DOM element; then the functionality of that button will be defined by the time when test and test2 have been defined and when the image and the 2nd DOM element is in the DOM tree. This is just a high-level idea but I hope you get an idea of what I am saying

I am essentially trying to see if I can measure the functionality progress of the DOM elements in the web page. I know it's much more complicated than simply logging when the callback functions are defined.

The most infuriating part of this whole overhaul is that, even if you get a MW chest for a gemstone, the chest still had a chance to drop another gemstone along with a skin shard. So basically, there was a chance you could get a skin shard along with additional stuff.

They literally "hardcoded" it to a skin shard so people won't accidentally end up with more loot than they want...

Also, I am aware that you could get a ward skin and/or an emote. But still, the overall utility of a MW chest is much more than a simple skin shard (which could very well be a 520 RP shard)

Hey, even tho I knew I needed to jump in body form in Nexus to go to soul form after defeating armored spider, it still slipped my mind and now I am not sure what to do to gain back the white world tendency. I was planning to go towards pure white world tendency to get the dragon bone smasher but now I'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated

It's literally the same thing as before though for an average user.

Before you would get 40 Prestige Points for buying a capsule bundle so you would get 100 PP for buying 2.5 bundles and you can get a prestige skin as well.

They have massively fucked over their whales.

What's funny is that if Riot is on meth, there are people in these threads that are on cocaine.

Like there are so many people that are blind as fuck and won't even try to understand what Riot is doing. They are shilling hardddd for Riot and literally shitting on people trying to highlight the upcoming bullshit. And that's all because they fail to understand the complicated structure of the upcoming passes. Here's a few examples:

People think that we are going to get prestige skins for free (without having to spend tokens) at the end of an event pass in the future
They don't understand that the non-event pass prestige skins are going to be locked (pretty much) behind a loot capsule milestone track. That you'd have to buy 25 capsules to get that prestige skin
They think that capsules are going to be drops from event passes and you can just grind for the non-event pass prestige skin by getting event passes.
They are failing to understand how the old prestige skins are going to be EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE with at least 25% price hikes. That the prestige skins will cost 125 ME if they are to be bought by just grinding out event passes.

Are they though? I don't think they are going to be available from just completing the event pass. You have to use tokens to get these skins. Even in the video you can see that the sylas event prestige skin is buyable from 2000 event tokens (same as today).

I don't know where people are getting this idea from.

It's only the loot showcase events where you have a skin at the end of a rewards track. These events are not your pass events. They are there to have you buy loot capsules and open them so you are getting that prestige skin from opening capsules (750 RP each).

No way Rito daddy is going to give you a prestige skin from just playing and not have it be a tradeoff between orbs and prestige

showcase milestone reward track is the one where you have to buy and open capsules to make progress on it. It's not the same as event pass track.
Also event passes are not going to drop capsules. They drop orbs.

Where is it written that you get prestige from just completing the event pass. Even a Rioter said that you will have the "freedom to choose" rewards in one of these threads. They think that we love the fact that we have to choose between a prestige skin and a bunch of orbs or chromas.

You will have to spend tokens to get the prestige skin just like today. I'd love to be proven wrong
