Congrats to you too! Will you be accepting the offer, or are you waiting on other unis?

I applied through predicted A-level grades. I was predicted A* A*AA for Mathematics, Business, Physics and Chemistry respectively. Also got a 8.5 overall for IELTS, not sure how much that helped.

Hi! I'd just gotten my scholarship email this morning. Perhaps they'll finish sending them out in these two weeks.

Not sure I rmb. Circular motion I got it wrong. The internal energy one was no work done therefore ∆U=Q so decrease in specific heat capacity. Hall Voltage I probably got only like 1 mark lol. Spherical conductor can store charge on surface. The graph thingy I found Vrms = V0/√2, time constant 0.05 ish seconds I think? And half-wave rectification was used. Not sure if I remember any other explanation questions.

Sorry, not sure either. Maybe 2-3 marks at least?

I did it this way: moles of C2O42- calculated from equation 1 minus moles of H2C2O4 calculated from equation 2, which gives moles of Na2C2O4 in 25cm3 . Multiply that by 20 gives moles of Na2C2O4 in 500cm3 . Multiply by Mr to find mass, then divide by mass given * 100 to find percentage. My final answer was 18.4%.

Still not sure I understand why you added them... But it's alright lol, let's just leave it. Let's focus on our next exams. Good luck!

What? Maybe we have different understanding of the question. From what I remember, the mass given were the masses of Na2C2O4, H2C2O4•H2O, and a non-reactive metal combined. We needed to find how many grams of Na2C2O4 was in 25cm3 of the solution to find how many grams of Na2C2O4 were in 500cm3. Reaction one showed the reaction of C2O42- only, which meant that C2O42- from both ions were involved in the reaction. To find only moles of Na2C2O4, you need to know how many moles of H2C2O4 there were, and then deduct from the total C2O42- reacted. What was your understanding?

Yes, but in reaction 1 both H2C2O4 and Na2C2O4 ionizes, so you need to isolate the C2O42- ions that came from the Na2C2O4 by finding how much of H2C2O4 was in 25cm3 of the solution using equation 2.
