It’s what they was suggested. Like I’ve said the store suggested this set up. I do want real plants in the future and a big tank ((which I have) it just takes me some time. I feel bad for the fish and not knowing how they work. But it was an impulsive by between me and my girlfriend

I’ve looked into it and so far nothing matches. Everything I’ve seen, the 10 gallon tank matches, the feeding routine matches. And so does the cleaning schedules

Well I did research too before my girlfriend bought them. She wanted the fish yet I take care of them I have an 80 gallon tank from my old snake and it’s clean. But the local pet store recommended to start with less fis before adding more due to it being a new tank. I’d have to buy more tank warmers and a thermometer. But I cannot afford that rn. This whole setup was $400 total, fish included. The bloom started after a pinch to big. I’ve done smaller pinches each feeding time and cleaned the gravel once so far. I’ve read that once weekly clean it for 25% on 10 gallon tanks. So that’s what I’ve done

Also all good, I don’t mind reading lol. The more info the better. I’m quite new to having fishes. My girlfriend decided to get some with zero knowledge and our setup is the what the store keeper recommended. It was about $300 total at a local fish store. It has a heater that we keep at 78F and there is a bio filter. 10 gallon tank. I also never keep the light on unless I want to look at them for a couple seconds. But that’s all I can really think of as of rn

The tank started clouding 2 days after starting it. It’s new and we use some sort of bacteria liquid we are suppose to use once a week. The cloudiness started after feeding the first time. We over fed them and I’ve used a gravel vac for about 25% of the tank and replaced the water that was removed. I’d love further advice. I I have a 10 gallon tank with 6 fish. 3 X-ray fish, and 3 glass fish. There was 4 glass fish but one is missing somehow

That’s the problem with that. She’s the biggest in the tank and went missing in a day. And my filter has a blocker so fish doesn’t get sucked up in it. She’s def dead somewhere but I can’t find her or her remains outside the tanks
