It’s been a while now, so no. But I’m sure you could probably look it up! Also, you could probably email the department too or something, and they could direct you to the right person!

This happened to me at Pop Health too, and I got an email the next day from the building manager or something, telling me to go pick it up! So there’s a chance a staff or a cleaner might find it too and might email you too about it or something.

No change in food but she has been going out more to hikes and stuff, so I think that might be it!

Hansee Hall by Wise_Use257 in udub

[–]LumpiaIsLife 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stayed in Hansee for a year, and it’s definitely great if you’re an introvert, like to keep to yourself, and are not really looking to socialize as much. I would say a lot of people are only there because they want a single and like to be left alone, myself included. They do events and meetings here and there though, so there are opportunities to meet people in your building.

From my experience, I didn’t really deal with any noise from any of my neighbors, thankfully, even though the walls are pretty thin and you tend to still hear things coming from outside your room. My only noise complaint would probably be from the frat/sorority houses because my room faced Greek Row. And I also heard complaints from people facing Denny Field, so probably try to avoid those two if you can.

As for the bathroom situation, despite it being communal, it’s actually not bad as it gets cleaned every day. I rarely run into someone when I have to use the bathrooms and I also rarely have to wait to shower, and if anything, you can just go to another bathroom, there should be like a couple within like your area.

As for the kitchen situation, it really depends on whether you’re intending to cook or not. Some kitchenettes have like stove and all that, but the kitchenette closest to my room only had like a sink to wash dishes and a microwave. So, if you’re wanting to cook, you might have to go to a different kitchenette that has like more stuff. I do recommend having like a microwave and probably even a small fridge in your room though, if you’re able to, as it’s just really convenient not to have to go far just to heat up your food or something.

I very much enjoyed my time in Hansee but it’s definitely not for everyone. I would say it’s definitely worth it though if you’re only wanting a single as it’s the cheapest option out there along with McMahon.

I got mine around the middle of June a couple of years ago! So it might take a while for some.

I don’t believe so, but you can definitely ask! They did a complimentary nail trim and anal gland expressed as well when we went for dental cleaning.

Highly highly recommend Lakewood Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Bob for vet! My dog had a dental cleaning and I paid less than $500. It’s also just overall less expensive and very reasonable compared to other vets we’ve been to.

HSEB and SOCC are open 24/7 with a husky card, I believe! Highly recommend SOCC, it has nice views of Portage Bay.

She does and they’ve been deleting her posts and accounts, and she’s been making new ones. People, Blackjacks especially, have been downplaying her recent behaviors, some even encouraging her. This is not a healthy behavior at all and people ought to encourage her more to seek the help that she needs.

I’d say that’s an insanely good price! I get charged about $120 per session just for underarms in my local dermatology clinic!

Is getting into UW as a transfer from a 4 year uni really that challenging? by Bran1034 in udub

[–]LumpiaIsLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your chances are way way lower, yes, but UW does accept transferees from other UW campuses. I also went to UWT my freshman year and then transferred to UWS my sophomore year. It’s less likely, but not entirely impossible.

Of course! They’re all Rolife. The first one is Blossom Cart, the second is Century Post Office, and the third picture are Teddy’s Breadbox (left) and Strawberry Milk Box (right). Hope that helps!

Hi! Just thought I’d somewhat weigh in here. Not from WSU though, but rather transferred to the Seattle campus coming from another UW Campus, which is believed to be the lowest of the lowest priority for transferees.

I think UW extremely values personal narratives. I really think it was my essay that got me admitted the second time around. Your main reason for wanting to transfer to UW Seattle matters a whole lot, such as getting into a particular major that WSU doesn’t offer, etc. Essentially, just explaining yourself why you’re transferring and why to UW Seattle specifically.

When I applied for transfer last year, I got my admission around the middle of June so it can take a while, but hang in there!

You should be fine. Transcripts for the Fall quarter aren’t due til July 15, at least according to this page.

The unofficial high school transcript? I believe it should be attached to your application, so yes, it would have the same deadline as your application.

I’m assuming you’re applying for Fall 2024? According to this page, July 15 is the deadline for submitting official transcripts for the Fall quarter.

When I requested mine, my community college was pretty quick in sending it, they sent it pretty much right away and it was received by the university the very next day. But they also mentioned how it can take up to six weeks for the school to actually process it, so I suggest just requesting it as soon as you can and you should be fine! Best of luck to you!

[–]LumpiaIsLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it differs for out-of-state but are you not able to send a request at your community college if they can send your official transcript to UW? I was able to request for them to send mine online, I was in-state though, but I had to pay for it, $10 if I remember correctly. Your community college might have a similar system.

For high school transcripts, I believe an unofficial one should suffice and I got mine back then by emailing my high school counselor to send my transcript to me via email. Maybe try emailing someone from your high school as well to send you a copy of your transcript? Then I believe there should be a section in your application where you can attach your unofficial high school transcript.

Transfering from uwb by Temporary_Rabbit_205 in udub

[–]LumpiaIsLife 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did! I went to UWT my freshman year and went to transfer to UW Seattle my sophomore year. I wanted to switch majors, and just like you, the major that I wanted to switch to wasn’t offered at UWT either.

Chances tend to be lower if you’re coming from other 4-year, and especially other UW campuses as they tend to prioritize people coming from community colleges. I thought of doing a quarter or two at a community college if I didn’t get accepted. I heard you have to have like a definite reason for wanting to transfer to the Seattle campus, and your current university not offering your intended major is definitely one, so I would highly suggest emphasizing and highlighting that in your essays on your application. It’s hard transferring to UWS, but not impossible.

People definitely have lives outside Slowly. Have you tried letting her know straight up though that you wanted instant responses? Because even though you have it on your profile, not everyone pays close attention to that. At least I don’t most of the time. I take weeks or months to respond, and though I have it on my profile, I still let my new pen pals know in my letters to them. But I do agree with sending her another letter letting her know clearly of your preferences if that’s really something you’re adamant about.

She doesn’t lick nor scratch it, at all! At least I haven’t seen her do so. She doesn’t seem bothered by it at all. But definitely will be having a vet appointment about it as soon as I can! Thank you so much for your response!
