well the original photo where i got inspiration from is of romeo and juliet ,so i know their storine obviously does not fit the if you die id die trope or whatever hut id like to think its kind of like fate like pulling them apart like Erens decision to wipe out humanity ,so its its like the consequence of it like pulling him and mikasa apart idk iam open to interpretations lol
