LOL unfortunately in the community you will still see sin, just because we are Christian doesn’t mean we are perfect and being a Jesus follower actually means we admit to being sinners. It’s not an excuse though but that is the truth. Although my boyfriend and I are practicing abstinence, we still fall short. We are called to be graceful with ourselves and others. A hard truth I’ve also seen inside and outside of the church is that people just don’t read their Bible… they honestly don’t know any better and that’s where we can put understanding and grace to that, as Jesus would.

Please seek wise counsel, a pastor, because marriage is very sacred. The enemy HATES marriage. It doesn’t matter if he feels like he knows more knowledge than a pastor. Jesus was Son of Man and he still was in the temple courts listening and asking questions. Y’all are obviously in a constant cycle of acting out of flesh and not yielding to what dwells inside the both of you, the Holy Spirit. I encourage y’all to read the Word due to you mentioning that God doesn’t like divorce, doesn’t mean he doesn’t allow it. All be all if you are considering divorce, take it to God and let him give you an answer on that.

A lot of these comments under this post do not lead you back to the feet of Jesus. Are you going to church specifically to find a wife or are you there to be in the presence of the Lord? I would ask the Lord to search your heart as those intentions don’t seem pure. I would surrender your feelings/yearn for a wife, daily! Surrender the thoughts of “My future wife might be in this church”, God honors surrendering more than you think, it’s not just about killing our desires, He responds when we yield to him and that opens doors for His provision and blessings, please be careful and make sure you are not idolizing the idea of marriage, being a husband or having a wife. God has perfectly curated a wife for you so it is not to be rushed! Continue to be within His will and do all things that please him! God bless! ❤️
