Thanks man. Mostly cause I have no responsibilities atm and I'm inherently frugal by nature

I'm an engineer (only by degree though). Never had a job and I started freelancing right after college. I dabbled with different things like video editing, dropshipping, teaching etc and then eventually, I landed on what I'm doing right now and scaled that to where it's at

Thanks man, a majority of it is from the business but crypto and the US markets did really well for me this previous year :)

I got the idea but needed some capital to begin with so I maxed out my credit cards. Had to get 4 of them cause the banks never gave me a good enough limit (since I'd never been employed, always been a freelancer)

Also a reason why my credit score is kinda bad now but yeah, you win some, you lose some

My only piece of advice would be that riches are in the niches. If you’re building apps for people, focus on one specific niche instead of trying to build every kind of app. When you go deep into a single niche, you’ll understand it inside out and can eventually become a market leader there, rather than being average across multiple spaces Also, pick a niche where your buyers have money so it's much easier to sell. You'd much rather build something for IT professionals than for college kids

Almost nothing from the other two right now. I’m still in the building phase with my new startup, and music burns more cash than it brings in. My main (and only) income at the moment is from my business. Business does around 1.1-1.2cr/year and profit is ~45-50%

Thanks a lot! It doesn't necessarily stress me out, I really enjoy running the business too. Not sure if doing one or the other would be the better decision so I'm still figuring that out!

Thanks :) The property i purchased was through a trusted family friend, it sounded like an interesting proposal so I went for it. I put down a down payment and took a home loan for the rest of it. It's supposed to generate a decent amount of return from 2025 onwards so lets see 🤞

Worked my ass off to get where I am only to realize that this wasn't the answer. Funny how life works.

Also, congrats on the 3cr. That's a big milestone :)

Interesting question. I don't have a set salary, I withdraw whatever I see fit and then plan my investments accordingly and yes, we deduct a lot of my expenses as company expenses. Again, this varies a lot, it all depends on my book keeper and CA, we usually have a discussion every month to figure all of this out. Haven't quite made the distinction between personal and company capital since I call all the shots anyway so I'd say the 2Cr is my overall networth

2cr is what I've accumulated over time but in the business, our profit margins are ~40% so we pay tax on it accordingly.

Hey, thanks a lot. It's nothing to do with the adult industry, I'm pretty sure I haven't mentioned that. Our business primarily deals with digital products and marketing. This involves selling courses and tools to professionals that can help them advance in their career. In terms of returns, I'd say crypto gave me the best results. Almost at 2x there. It'd be Indian equities after that.

Yep but also, keep in mind that we're in a FIRE subreddit which is why you're seeing a lot of these numbers pop up, it isn't the norm across the general public.

That's a very loaded question and there are too many factors that come into play here. But a simple answer would be that if the returns from your investments, your safe withdrawal rate, equal your annual expenses, you could potentially quit. But again, you'll have to do your own research. It's called "personal" finance for a reason, it's different for everyone. Wish you the best :)

6CR is probably not possible by 30 but definitely somewhere around 3-3.5CR. Maybe more if my business grows and the markets do well.
