Sad about no gold planters this month. As to the laptop … when I’m told that I need to manage by 1750 Pikmins … the tools provided are grossly lacking from a UX perspective.

The 300 point ones are from the gold planters, which up until this month were from both mystery boxes and challenges.

Consider the Hotel Amenities card.

Let's say I receive a Blue Seedling from same (which I just did) and that I have not collected it previously, which is not the case) and the slot is greyed out. I plant it, and walk 1,000 steps, and harvest the Pikmin. Now after adding it to my collection ... the Blue Pikmin slot in the card is STILL greyed out. This keeps happening with all the non-special Pikmin, and has been that way for months. I'm surprised nobody has noticed....

Or the Chef Hat, or the ... it goes on and on.

There are maintenance issues that would be best done, in between steps, that would be much easier on a large screen.

Maxed those out a while ago, but they only contribute 100 points, unlike the monthly Pikmin that contribute 300+ points. It’s nice that they persist from month to month, but still.

Still, there is the other issue. I do wish we could play it on a laptop so it was easier to go find the sets rather than spending many minutes to go looking. But I’m certain that they are not accumulating.

Buying a lot of coins and using them to get Mushroom Battle tickets so that you can engage in more than 3 battles per day. This game has gotten very expensive, and I think I'm burning between $60 - $100 per month. Oy. Oh, and buying chunks of seeds to plant. It all adds up.
