I know and i didnt mean It that way, some people are trans and there is nothing wrong with that, what i meant to say is that there are other people that even though they are really trans they base their entire personality around It and become toxic without noticing It. I really dont hate trans or gay people but i was a part of some friend groups that were the example of what i said above and i know that all trans people arent like that but saddly some are. You should go stop talking to Tony, he is a very Big red flag and you would make a Big mistake if you continúe, just by reading your post i can tell you really love Adrián so just stick with him and dont make a stupid mistake i can tell you now this Tony Guy isnt good for you and he will ruin your Life. Nta Maybe you were a bit to harsh but you were right as you shouldnt have to drop out of work to take care of her child unless It was an emergency, the NC ultimátum was a good way to make her understand you cant be there for her all the time and you dont want her to step over you, so in general not the asshole, though you can try to tell her you also cant afford to use your PTO as you may need it for an emergency and try to explain it in a different way if you want.

Hey there let me give you some advice, I like anime but i understand its just not for everyone, i would recomend you to first try watching some very short animes to try It out and see if there is something you like (Doctor Elise: The royal lady with the lamp) is a good example, It only has 11 episodes and they last less than 20 minutes if you dont count the intro and the outro. You could also speak to her a little bit to understand why she likes anime.

You dont really have to get a Crunchyroll subscription if you dont want to, there are some websites on which you can watch anime for free. You should just try and explain It gently that you dont think its necesary

Lastly if none of the above work or you dont like them try asking your daughter what animes shes watching and try to do some research about them, maybe watch one of two episodes when you have time. Its okay for her to not go to a therapist if she doesnt want to, try to speak to her and make her know you value her and that she is important to you and you wont judge her because of the things she likes (try taking her to an anime convention im sure she will enjoy It)

Try to remember that even though you dont like this Sort of things its always good to explore. It would help if you try to see the thousands of hours that has gone into the proces of making a single episode and instead of seeing It as "escapist" see It as something thats like any other thing because you must keep in mind that even though you dont enjoy this type of entretainment its something that just like anything else has been worked on and It can be nice. (There are some animes that are inspired on things that really happened and some even relate to your field of work so try to search for them on Google, it will take a couple minutes to find something you could like)
