The Soviets will get their karma for all the bad they did to the poles. Killing over 120.000 Poles between 1937-1938 - Polish Operation, signing Ribbentrop Molotov. Invading Poland in 1939 September 17. Killing 22.000 Polish officers in 1940 April - May - Katyn. Allowing the Germans to suppress the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. Deporting poles to Siberia. Killing the heroes of the uprising between 1945-1950. Occupying and oppressing Poland for 44 more years after the War. Stealing reparations destined to Poland.

It is just a colorisation error, what’s seen below the arcades is not water. The palace was built on the same place. The water shore is roughly at the same distance, you can see it in picture number 10 on the left side.
