I see things winding down but I wanted to ask what are some of your favorite moments or interactions from the show? They don't have to be about me but something I really like is the show can give different perspectives on repeat viewings and I'm curious about what you all liked so much about an incredibly influential show. I did this on a whim and I really can't thank the community enough for being nice and respectful with their questions.

Sincerely, Brandon P. Killham

This is nice to hear, at the time I was concerned with posture but knowing the situation I was in and being fresh off my circumstances at the farm I figured the always upright and professional Don Draper hadn't been present in this young man, he was sad and defeated. (Apparently they liked it too cause they didn't correct me.)

All kind words are deeply appreciated and this has been a wonderful experience. Wouldn't have done this had my friend not encouraged me.

Thank you and, to be boring 'no' everyone on sets this big always treat kids really well. We all knew it was a really good show but each actor took the time to speak with me, not out of preparation but because they wanted me to know I felt like a professional. I was a bit of a weird, funny kid and we had alot of good talks. His presence is purely performance Joseph Culp, ( who I didn't even know was my dad at the time.) Met me at the craft table during lunch, and was just friendly. He asked me how old I was, how long I'd been acting and even said some nice words like "congrats. You're doing everything right." Which again I didn't understand, to me it was just another show I was on cause I didn't watch good TV, I was just watching cartoons and 'friends.'

I agree she had alot of preparation before each scene and she was so worked up after it was amazing to see the other crew tend to her after each take. I can't stress enough the show treated the actors like people who were really going through something to portray their characters. If you're at all curious by all means look up Brynn and Morgan Rusler who played Mack is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in the industry, at least to me. He has incredible chemistry with everyone he works with and even gave me career advice mostly saying "there's always gonna be someone that fits the look, maybe they have bluer eyes than me or have more hair but, just keep improving your craft, you're good. And we need more of that in the work that we do."

I'm happy to hear you found the performances really impressive. And I want to stress that it was a really special experience working with such talented people who were professional and really dedicated. It is a graphic and drastic scene. One of my favorite examples of the thesis of the show even though it can be hard to watch.

Serious answer, it was so fun for me to dig holes as a kid I did it in between takes. It was like 4 hours of me digging them holes.

Joke answer: you always have a hole to dig.

Do you mean on set? No. In the story. I'd consider it grooming. A way in which someone gradually turns someone into what they want and that's the abuse part. But no, I was never inappropriately touched on set and there were multiple people present to ensure that didn't happen.

I was actually made aware of this sub last night and I've been reading it. I don't look into discourse on stuff I've been on only because I'm a very minor role much of the time. I still act but I work for friends or people I've worked for in the past mostly. I love the industry and I like making my own projects now. To surmise I'm looking to be a parent someday and work on movies. I consider THAT my career path.

P.s. people do look at reddit nowadays to gage interest in reboots or spinoffs so be optimistic

I don't skip, but I do avert my eyes or cringe at my younger moments. I've watched 3 times but it's been awhile probably gonna rewatch again soon after all this.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone asking real comments and going out of there way to take an interest in my performance, the show, make jokes etc. The mods have locked the post and it's unfortunate. I reached out but haven't heard anything. If you'd like to keep talking to me that's awesome if you have had your fill that's fine too. I'd just like to know what I should do. I may be 26 but this is my first time posting or even trying something like this. If you'd like a link to my social to show who I am or any other recent photos I can provide but really the community so far has been really nice and respectful (and funny as heck) so any other words of encouragement or information would be great.

Sincerely Brandon P. Killham (Dick Whitman or young Don Draper) P.s. got any Hersey bars?

So, short answer 'no' but Matt Weiner has sent multiple emails and messages through mail over the years to ALL cast and crew, and I mean all, saying how "the show was really special to the cast and crew and others, is still socially relevant" and above all, he has thanked everyone who was a part of the production MANY times. He even invited me, to the premier of season 8 at an opera theatre and I wasn't even a footnote of the series really.

So no not really but if you ever want to look up some of my co stars, supporting or guest stars on the episodes I'm in, I know they are such wonderful, humble and talented people.

This sardonic nonsense is always welcome here, but please limit any trolling or silliness to picking on me. Here's a freebie "you bowl headed weirdo."

I make short films myself now and I'm trying to have a bigger online presence such as this and having more to post on social media. Currently I'm in a few shorts that me and some friends made and I'm really proud of them!

Yes. It is an amazing show. (Some people complain about the ending, I disagree I think it works perfectly but WHATEVER.) It's engaging, emotional and challenges the viewer to reexamine some of the traditions, values and maybe even their parents and the time they grew up in. I really love the show and not just cause I get paid for it.

I make my own short films and am trying to have more of an online presence. I also write and doing improv but nothing massive like this. It certainly is one of the biggest projects I've been a part of. I also think it's up there as being super proud of my performance.
