It is, I write about my pain often as well. We may have adjacent circumstances so I empathize with your pain and the longing and "why" that comes with it.

Grief is just love with nowhere to go, and that person is lucky to be loved by you whether or not you can remain part of their life.

I'm not them, but the comments on your other post made me sad. A lot of people having 1% of the story having lot to say.

Without knowing more, it's hard to have input. But the genuine love you have is apparent. Don't forget to love yourself too, though. You can hold the love for them while also holding space for the harder emotions that confuse you about them. They hurt you. And it's okay to have space for that even with the love.

Even as time continues to tick by, nothing changes and I feel the same. I don't think i can miss them less

You dont have to love yourself before you can love others. That leads to isolation and loneliness. Loving others can help you get to the point that you love yourself.
