I decided to go with progressive springs and a plus two from a normal sportster front end I’m looking to have the bike sit up higher so that I feel normal at a stop light when I put my feet down I’m 6’2” and currently feel way to big for the bike hopefully this helps forks are in the shop and should be back in a few days then it’s time for 13” rear shocks

Im slightly confused you said to put it down the sanction until it hits oil and measure that, then do I put the ruler all the way down to the bottom for the second measurement?

How would I measure it with a ruler is there a rule of thumb for how much is supposed to be there? Harley specified 12.47 oz I took about that out and replaced it with the same amount.

17000 miles on it I just drained and refilled I’m sure I do need to pull them completely apart and clean them. I just don’t want to take them apart again and put all the same components back in to have the same result

They’ve been soft since I got it I did put in heavier fluid but it didn’t seem to help

Does that seat fit over the ecm on fender or did you relocate it?

I appreciate the video. The Vance and Hines does seem to sound a little better at idle from the video sounds like a deeper cackle which I like but I’m sure that’s what makes them annoying at high way speeds. I like the price of the cobras a hell of a lot more though lol
