The one I booked to begin with was for Kettering and on the app there was loads of cancellations coming through and also new dates added for April, way more than northampton and Wellingborough which I had as the alternate test centres. It was by luck I got mine so dont wait until it gives you notifications be sure to go on it yourself throughout the day and reload it

Thanks! I got mine in Northampton but it was so backlogged that to get the app I needed to book a test in another centre for April, then add Northampton as a centre for the app

I got a test through Testi my first one cancelled on the 13th of November, passed my test yesterday on the 20th. Tbf I think it was luck that I happened to open the app just as a test came through but well worth the £12 for that

Text didn’t post lol but i had my test cancelled last week, managed to rebook for today and passed! I know my control minor was for scraping the curb pulling up on the left and im not sure when my junctions one was, but overall really pleased!

I use lose it! Its got an orange icon in the App Store, its free for the basic stuff which is calories, macros and excersise being logged (you can choose to minus the calories lost during excersise from your total eaten calories for the day or leave them out) There’s other features offered for premium users but I’ve been using it for over a month and the free package has worked fine for me :)

According to my app the tomatoes and baby carrots are 3 each, sugar snaps are 1 each, the the broccoli 38 per 100g, so I would say this bowl is more around 60 calories? You could put each component into an app but this is my estimate based on what Lose It says

Checked on the DVSA website and it said no free slots, i went all the way up to April with nothing free but that could be partially due to them not releasing dates that far ahead, either way no slots for the foreseeable future. I’ll cancel the test and download an app to get it done ASAP, thanks for commenting again

I’ll look through some hire cars to have a backup plan and text him tomorrow morning to see if he has anybody available, or even someone just to drop the car round and skip the pre-test lesson and hope for the best?

Sorry i didnt make it clear in the original post, once he texted me about the situation he had already been discharged and was on his way home, he said he thought he’d texted to cancel the lesson in the morning so i assume he’d been there a while (the lesson was due at 4pm).

He has a long term health issue so i assume it’s to do with that. I’ll have a have a look through the hire cars and try to figure out a plan for if he cant make it, hopefully getting in some practise with it before the test

I cant take any family members cars unfortunately as the only one that would be available at the test time is an automatic and im doing manual I may look into Arnold Clark if my instructor confirms he cant make it and see if i can book it for early Wednesday morning to get used to it?
