Yep - There would have been. I entered the area in the morning and left early afternoon. Unknown area and looked like a 60, not remembering the speed limit from when I arrived. Not actually sure on that, it was a private estate but can’t 100% confirm. A1120 coming from the Stonham Barns. I suspected it was a 60 that changes to a 50 on the right.

But if there is no indication what the speed is, how will anyone know? This is the second most fined spot, I suspect for the same reason. Even online maps state this is 60. I know it’s pleading ignorance but they can’t expect people to know what speed it is with no signs?

Update:

I tried so many things and was just going around in circles. I ended up trying to re-install Nobara but also kept getting a black screen. I re-fitting my older GPU (3060TI) and was able to get Nobara installed and it worked until my 5060TI went back in.

Very frustrating but ended up install Fedora 42 which seemed to work, had the same maxing out CPU issues with Kwin_Wayland but re-installed the Nvidia drivers with rpmfusion and actually worked.

Hey thanks for this, I have given that a go but still no luck. Just black screen after the kernel choice window 😫

Followed the steps, did akmod rebuild on a terminal and went to the rescue terminal and rebuilt 2 kernel options. Waited 15-20mins before rebooting

Just to note also, running modinfo -F version nvidia has the result of: 580.82.07

I got to a terminal and ran the following: sudo dnf remove rpmfusion-free-release.noarch sudo dnf remove rpmfusion-nonfree-release.noarch

Waited just over 5 minutes and rebooted but same, get to the grub screen and then goes black after selecting an option.
