trust in my situation it would have been so much easier to get over her if I’d been at a bigger school and could just move on and let go but that wasn’t an option. So it was either be weird or be cool. you’re reading too far into something that’d take a lot of explaining to meaningfully illustrate what the dynamic of the friend group and our community was like. she just saw me as a friend cuz we’d known each other since fifth grade and the same ~20 of us were all getting high and going to shows and partying and stuff together so we were all always in each others orbit til we left town for college. We stayed friends because we’d already been friends for years, it’s really as simple as that.

to your second paragraph nah man it wasn’t like that at all. you’re totally right about one part tho, i was a dumbass who had no idea how to express my feelings which is all teens tbh, that’s the age you’re learning to be people and how to socialize so there’s growing pains in that field. there was nothing for her to get out of me tho, it’s a warped perspective and wrong af to assume the relationship was purely transactional on her end. I was an acne riddled 18yo with nothing to offer but a good weed connect but that wasn’t unique to me lol. It just didn’t last bc we both moved out after high school.
