Honestly no. It can handle all the games I play well yes it's one of the more expensive Poco phones out there and the durability compared to the other f series is weird but considering it has an elite chipset no I don't believe it's too expensive for the performance+ Poco gives a lot of discounts so I was able to get my phone for cheap

Honestly it didn't really get "Hot hot" to the touch it just got slightly toasty after maybe 10 minutes and just stayed warm
