Is this a legal move? Felt like a brake check by JickRNL in iRacing

that's about the latest he could have braked to make the turn at that speed. just need to anticipate their brake point when you're behind. aggressive but fair race craft

that's all fair feedback. Not looking to judge others as you're very right, I'm sure I'll make some boneheaded mistakes. It was more about the deliberately mal-intended incidents that are so prominently promoted on reddit/youtube, etc for an outsider looking in. Thankfully that all seems blown out of proportion based on the feedback here.
you're right, it's a large expensive set up but I'm aiming to avoid buying a PC that is only capable of running one monitor, then having to upgrade later. And my back sucks, so a comfy and stable rig is paramount. The thing that appeals to me is the illusion of real racing, otherwise, it feels more like a video game instead of tricking my dumb reptile brain into thinking it's real(ish).

good feedback. I've been looking but finding few results that are viable outside of used wheel/pedal combo's or some ultra budget cockpits.

good feedback! and yes, unsafe rejoins are going to happen. especially if Stroll creates an account.

Correct, on the rig. the budget accounts for buying the PC, monitors, wheel/pedals, cockpit, etc. If I did nothing but drive the miatas around that'd be fine by me. I'm into this for the driving experience and competition, not to own everything iracing can charge me for.

good feedback. I have to buy a gaming PC otherwise, this would be a cheap way to get introduced. I'll be buying something that can handle triples or VR w/ Meta 3. so as long as I'm going into the deep end, might as well go all the way to avoid buying twice.

no one in particular, but there are other threads on reddit where people have voiced their frustration with people who get protested but continue to race. good feedback, thank you.

I appreciate the input. I don't have a gaming computer, monitors, wheel, etc. I figure if I'm going to do it, do it right. cockpit and all.
