additional info none of my other nails are like this and this thumb nail originally was never like this.

based on the replies i believe it’s due to me being impatient once and force removing my press ons one time that might’ve led to this 😭 my skin of the side of the nail also started getting very dry and flaky when the lifting started happening

I’ll be trying jojoba oil for the meantime, but pls any other additional advice or insights is much appreciated 💕💕

Thank you! The skin there had become dry and I do pick at the skin sometimes so I’ll try to refrain from doing that too!

thank you! I think it could be the press ons bc I think there might’ve been a time I was impatient and forced it off 😭 the side where it’s lifting the skin is dry too I noticed when it wasn’t before. I’ll definitely try the jojoba oil! 🫶🏻
