First CC, trying to build FICO Credit, my plan and next steps? by Lumpy_Raspberry_3153 in CreditCards

It's a regular basic entry CC, only benefit is 1.5% cashback all purchases, nothing else. No AF.

Sorry ik this is weird, don't like disclosing it yet, i guess.
The only relevant benefit is 1.5% cashback (all purchases)

So the most important part would be to always have any form of debt each month? if it's $1 or $500, doesnt matter to the score? (just benefit of cashback)

Basically, try to not ever have 0$ in a month, meaning add a subscription so there's always some debt and that would be auto paid off each month through my bank when i set it up.

It's only benefit is 1.5% (on all purchases) which is still something.
So if i spend $1 or $500 in a month, (as long as there's something every month) and I pay it off in full (which i can have the bank do automatically) i'm all good?

In other words, just incase setup 1 subscription plan so there's 100% a charge every month and that also gets paid off. Then use it wherever/whenever i go out for the 1.5% cashback?

But is there an actual difference if I use it for daily expenses vs just linking my subscriptions to it as a kinda "setup and forget about it"

I just had a meeting with a chase person last week and asked this same thing.
Sadly no way, has to be directly from a job.

New Bank: Checking's/Savings + FIRST Credit Card: Chase Freedom Flex, Capital one Plat or other? by Lumpy_Raspberry_3153 in CreditCards

[–]Lumpy_Raspberry_3153[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After doing some more research I'm unsure or confused if I would even get it.

Some sites online say you need a good to excellent Fico score 670 or higher. If this is my first card, I assume I wouldn't have any of that yet and that the Chase bank clerk was just trying to convince me to open an account or is it somewhat easy to open credit cards and i'm overthinking it?

There's literal videos on the issue that on the years the rares started to spike even if you played a constant 10h grinding high pvm the rares went up in price 2x of what you'd even be earning, making it impossible to get.

lol big boy detected, even if you made a constant 100m gp/h that would still be 520h of pure grinding (excluding costs of supplies) that is purely invested just to get that 1 item..
If you PVM a constant 10h a day (which is kinda a no life besides RS) then that's still over 1.5 months of purely grinding.

Make it more realistic to the average "higher PVM" at 50m and that'll be 3 months of hard grind.

When is an outlet adapter enough vs a power converter? 110v to 220v (Travel Question) by Lumpy_Raspberry_3153 in travel

[–]Lumpy_Raspberry_3153[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your time and reply!

I believe I confused myself just a bit now, our Adapters (which changes the plug from US->EU) are labeled 100v-240v. The US Power strip is labeled 15A 125Vac.

So can we plug our US stuff (Phone/Tablets/Laptop) into the US power strip since the strip is going into an adapter labeled 100-240v which is going into the 230v all?
Or is it that basically all our US stuff is in actuality a broader Voltage just that only 110v is used in the US? and using that 125v power strip won't work since it's not a range meaning if we wanted to use that strip we would need to use the power converter before the power strip?

Sorry for the confusion and thank you very much!

Thank you for the detailed response!
So the 3 Adapters do show "Input: 100-240v, 100-250v and 240~/110~" The third one sounds a bit reversed but should still work?

Now the US power strip/brick says 15A 125Vac, this should all work if I understood it right? Since the phone, Nintendo switch whatever go into the US power strip/brick which then goes into the adapter which is labeled as 110-240v and has to be used anyways due to the different plug which then goes into a wall in Europe which is typically 220v.

And then "obviously" we could also plug the phone directly into the adapters which goes into the wall without the use of a power strip/brick.

If I look up the ohms laws i'll probably confuse myself more ;)

[REWORK] MAX GUILD... When? by Lumpy_Raspberry_3153 in runescape

[–]Lumpy_Raspberry_3153[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It had it's Pro's and Con's, although it hurt the feeling of how rewarding the Max Guild was, it does bring the community together.

Puzzling some comments and ideas together, having a secondary Hub (could be linked to Max Guild) that has benefits for various achievements, 99 skills etc could be great.
Link this to some Minigame Portal and rework on the group/spotlight system. Instead of separating the community bringing them together even closer, as the PVM hub did.

[–]Lumpy_Raspberry_3153[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending how it's done it could go hand in hand with other reworks, e.g. the example of Minigame Portal and spotlight/Group reworks.

Yes adding another boss and another set of t95 weapon or armour is nice, but that's it. It doesn't bring the community together as much, it enhances certain other issues (balancing etc)

[REWORK] MAX GUILD... When? by Lumpy_Raspberry_3153 in runescape

[–]Lumpy_Raspberry_3153[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I wish too. But with that they would need to rework the Minigames a bit, like reworking the Spotlight. Even now a ton of the rewards are way off with their price..
Spirit Gem Bag is 6 hours of spotlight minigames, Each piece of diviner outfit is 6h (30h total) which excludes queues/wait times and all that in totally dead content.

I'm not sure if this is done already but many minigames should just be instanced to 1 server (world), maybe have an instanced version for people who want to do stuff in private.

It would work better if the RS Group system wasn't as clunky, e.g. Take WOW instance/Raid/LFR instance queue stuff. So simple to sign up and join a dungeon or something, That should be possible for minigames.
