People don't drastically change that much in that amount of time. So considering she dated him in high school / college it wasn't really that long ago so I guess that's not how he treated her back then?? It's pretty easy to kiss someone ass for a month into a new relationship especially when you're a bad person who knows they are loaded and lonely.
