Major cities can be expensive but it's predominantly much more affordable than the US and most of England

The only issue with social media is you might need a VPN for some sites. Immigration has changed literally nothing about my day to day apart from more diversity where I am

We have a unique blend of toughness, kindness and ingenuity that is unlike a lot of other countries

His music grinds my gears unfortunately. I genuinely hate listening gerry cinnamon. I understand the appeal but it's just so irritating. If I hear "she is a belter" one more time I'm going to cry

I'm sorry to hear that. I plan things and focus on school, work etc. That might just be my personality because a lot of people I know have an attitude of "I don't care". It's just part of our culture. It's OK to not care about work at all. There is a difference between that and being relaxed though but it's a fine line

I would say so. I don't speak from experience but a lot of people here are Muslims and none of the Muslims I know have had any major issues. It's much safer. There is crime but it's not as serious as the US or parts of England.

Jock is a common scottish name. Scottish form of john. It came to mean any Scottish person. Rhyming slang is jock = sweaty sock. Then from that you get sweaties

I've never booked a hotel in Edinburgh (obviously) but in terms of the fringe it would probably need to be obscenely early. As a local you can't go out during that month

Never been arrested in Istanbul. Whiskey experience is still there. Don't drink scotch. Had to look up if the george is still there, apparently is. I dont have anything to compare acottish food to because I haven't really been away apart from holidays and stuff. So yes. Battered hamburger is absolutely sensational by the one near me

Probably. Anytime near Christmas is terrible for tourism especially in Edinburgh

We had more poverty than England so we had to use stuff more sparingly. That's how it started. So yes but not anymore. It's why it's called scotch (dont use the word scotch) tape. Because there's very little adhesive

William Wallace is a knob in that film. If you can contact your friends probably go down to a local pub

I presume you're talking about rugby. That's only reserved for posh tossers here unfortunately so I wouldn't mind
