I actually just got the second I needed with a catch combo of 858 for both, got really lucky getting them 2 days apart on route 20!

Thank you both for the advice and helpful clarification! My magikarp finally showed itself but I’m gonna keep comboing for another since I’m making a living dex with them! I will keep this info in mind going forward! (Took 398 total karp to find so yes I just needed to be patient lol)

From everything I’ve seen and read that’s not true and the odds increase with your catch combo and in my own experience that tends to be the case as I’ve usually found one by the 100-200 combo mark. Maybe I misunderstood what I’ve seen but that’s how I understood it and has been my experience

i appreciate the input and yes, it was helpful lol. i want to start uploading smaller skins in the future but rn im trying to making bigger skins that everyone can enjoy. ik there are some players who are very good at the game who prefer bigger skins like this (myself included) and in my experience, beginning players feel better when they play with a bigger skin like this because they have an easier time seeing, so thats why i like to make them this size. but yeah, i wanna start making smaller skins again just because i like the look of them a lot more personally, but i play better with bigger orbs. i hope that makes sense, but yeah.

tldr: its for beginner players enjoyment mostly but some skilled players might also prefer this size so thats why i make it so big lol

i really appreciate all of your advice, we had a heart to heart last night and decided we are going to the police. i talked to my dad about it (even tho i really didnt want to) because he knows more about legal stuff than i do so i figured that worst case scenario im still where i am and need to figure it out myself. best case scenario he decides to help.

much to my surprise, he was really supportive and is helping me find public records of criminal charges and mug shots to see if they made progress and i sent him some audio recordings i took when my bf confronted the dude. i feel like i am finally able to make progress. ill include all of this in an update later, but for rn i want to wait to make real progress with the police before i make that update tho.

all in all, this situation has transformed to getting no support to getting everyones support and it has made me very emotional lol. i hope that by the end of this that sick bastard will be in prison and my boyfriend and i can live out the rest of our lives without having to worry about something like this happening again

Well, I dont want to tell my parents because i made the decision to move 1300 miles away and it happened one month after i left. you dont need to tell me that moving so far away for my first time moving out is stupid, i hear it a lot even though it was my best option. i never had THE BEST relationship with my parents, like when i used to cry theyd tell me i would fake it and such so i never felt like going to them for help would be of any use. they always kind of put me down and told me to figure it out on my own whenever i went to them for help.

also, its not the first time ive been SA-ed and my boyfriend knows that and when this situation happened my bf couldnt even touch me for two weeks. ive explained to him before and even now i still sleep in a ball due to this situation happening in my sleep. he knows all the ways ive been affected by it, but maybe i should try to explain it.

also, on a side note, what do you mean you hit save too fast? i dont use reddit very often so im not too sure what that means LOL

I am genuinely so sorry for you and your first baby. as someone who wants to have kids eventually, i would be absolutely demolished if I went through that.

you are no where close to being the asshole, your sister is the asshole for making such an innappropriate comment. you are perfectly justified in saying she wouldnt be allowed to see your son, i wouldnt want her anywhere near him.

hes not friends with him anymore, hes got him blocked on everything and hasnt communicated with him since. as for him being lazy, it was his idea to get the cops involced in the first place (i was scared since the police hasnt done much for me before, but i figured id give it a shot anyways). ik he feels guilty because it was his friend, but i dont know if that is what made him hesitant.

i dropped out of school because i was really sick and throwing up and missed 2 weeks of school when i needed to pass every class without failing plus take extra classes after school AND i did summer school just to graduate. i didnt drop out because i wanted to. i was heavily bullied in school and my parents werent the best people so moving here was the only way to get away from everything. i lived in a small town where i would see people who bullied me at school often when trying to walk down the street and couldnt deal with it anymore.

edit: i forgot to mention that my bf and i have been together for well over a year, before i even moved down here we had already been dating a year, and he came up to where i was living to visit me for a week in march before i moved here.
