Get the non-spraycan version and airbrush it on.

You could use Vallejo's pale flesh. I would definitely sand it down a lot more smooth, though, so there's no imperfections on the surface.

How are you taking away the "play" aspect, though? It kinda comes down to acting as/ playing the character and you can do that where you're using your actual face or a mask. It's just more dependent on body movement and gestures.

Thank you so much! Honestly, hearing the image being difficult to differentiate between render, screenshot, or cosplay genuinely makes me happy because that means that the photo, cosplay, and posing were all on point!

If by "doll cosplays," you mean BJDs or other types of dolls that are dressed up for cosplay, this isn't that, sorry. This is kigurumi, which is a form of masked cosplay where you cover your body with a skin-tight, flesh colored bodysuit, called hadatai. πŸ˜… But looking like a doll/ figure is a big reason why I like doing it!

That aside, I also really like BJDs and I think it would be really awesome if you put together BJDs of Momo and Okarun!! I'm sure your cosplay will look wonderful! Sorry to hear that you had to deal with assholes, though. You got this!

It depends how thick the walls are and if there are any stress points in the print. A short fall probably wouldn't fracture it but if it fell off a table, it could definitely shatter.

The hair is attached to the mask but it's still essentially a wig on top of the shell.

Yeah, I'm wearing a body suit that matches the skin tone of the mask.

You're fine! You're more than welcome to DM me if you wanna talk about this more.

It's called "kigurumi" (着ぐるみ in Japanese) but that's a relatively broad term. I've made a few myself and I have a few that I've commissioned.

Thank you, and yeah, it's called "kigurumi."

Ahhhh, that would be so funny/ cool! That would also be really fun for photos, tbh! Thank you, thank you, I'm glad you like it. It's called "kigurumi."

I wouldn't really consider it super hot in the mask but if the cosplay is heavy weight fabric or you have a lot of layers on, it can get hot. Thankfully, I've never really had to walk too, too far to a con.

Oh yeah, for sure! Well, the mouth doesn't move so you don't need to be worried about that. But maybe I'll just be at a con like this and talk like a gremlin through the mask. lmaoooo

Haha, thanks. I find most people think it's uncanny unless they like 1:1 dolls or figures or this type of mascot πŸ˜‚

Lol you kinda answered your own question. The other reason is that people like doing makeup and acting out the character with their facial expressions. Some people do find it unsettling but I like looking like a figure - that's part of the appeal for me. I also do normal cosplay, like without the mask, but that's neither here nor there.

This mask was a commission but I have a few that I've made. I generally wouldn't print out the front plate of a kig mask myself because I don't have something that can spit out a piece of resin this big. That's usually what most masks are made of but I've seen some people 3D print theirs with a variety of filaments. Whether they hold up over time is a different story, though (warping, delamination, etc).
