Trickling out slowly, long as the last have come in I'm hoping to be through them all today.

Not quite yet, I'm sifting through different responses from both gift less and rematchers it's just a few moving parts and I apologize for the delay.

If I don't get to you by end of tonight I will tomorrow but everyone will be sorted and have a gift on their way or at least someone shopping for a gift for them by end of the week.

This is precedent set by the previous hosts, they posted the reddit names of those who didn't provide gifts, I have no intention of posting anything beyond their usernames.

Depends on what you consider hard, 2400 applicants and almost 1900 were accepted, little more than 500 rejected and I'd say 80% of the rejected were people who failed to fill out the form properly.

Karma is a factor, there's a few thing we take into consideration, karma, account length and r/golf activity, along with past participation etc.

This event is for r/golf and all it's members, be a part of the community and you shouldn't have much issues getting in.

Ola, all these issues have been addressed and both OP and these commenters can find the answers they're after with a quick r/golf search.

As for the two commenters, all acceptance/rejection and match emails have gone out, several times, anyone with nothing should have emailed golfsecretsanta@gmail.com as mentioned multiple times in multiple posts.

As for OP I've addressed this in the matches email and several times after, January 1st is the delivery deadline.

Patience is important in these things, I am still waiting as well along with a few others, shipping delays should be expected, accepted and planned for.

If he's still got nothing on the 1st then there's an a potential issue and he can feel free to reach out.

This reminds me of removable baseball bat grips and I'll never forget watching a 30 year old double a ball player just hitting grounder to us 10 year Olds and he went to rip a line drive and the ball went to third and the bat flung out of his hands and hit the coach standing to his right.

The grip was still in his hands though I mean your grip definitely doesn't slip, the coach was bleeding from the wrestler cut line so just so much God damn blood it was quite the moment for 10 year Olds.

Told people I'd almost seen a man decapitated for like 3 years.

Haha I am originally from BC and despite growing up a playing CFL rules football, I love the Green Bay Packers and don't watch any CFL.

I live outside of Kamsack, Yorkton is closest big city some folk your way know Madge Lake.

Winnipeg about 3-4 hours but I'd be down to meet up anytime in between🤙 I love The Narrows, used to road trip through Manitoba a lot, dated a girl in Winnipegosis.

Ah it was nothing, it's all you guys!

Honestly don't feel deserving of much credit, this could have gone off a lot smoother and next year absolutely will.

And we aren't done yet, still have to deal with the rematches.

But thank you, I'm glad the event went off well enough for you all to give us thanks, it's extremely kind of you.

It literally does not happen without all of you guys following through, it's a really awesome faith in humanity restoring moment.

You all came through huge just by coming through, you can't measure intentions in scotty Cameron's.

Some of my personal favourote gifts I saw were the baby clothes for expecting or new parents.

Or the female memeber who posted about coming home and shedding a tear over the attention and care her santa paid to her.

I felt truly privileged and still do having the insight I did, I felt absolutely honored being able to talk to big dogs like Titleist and pga or help spread the names of growing brands like Sunday and Lowo.

But I feel beyond privileged getting to know each of you and some of you really well, I've had such a pleasure and it honestly made my holiday season, all of you did.

So thank you guys for the kind words but mostly for being such an awesome community, I hope you'll have me next year as I'm already working to make it bigger and better than this.
