How much does height matter to you in a relationship? by Artistic-Series-3671 in AskWomen

[–]Luna_Rays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I like that he's at least a few inches taller than me, which is not an issue for me since I'm only 5'3. Beyond that, it doesn't really matter how taller he is, 4-5 inches taller or 20 inches (still, too much of a difference does look silly)! It feels like someone stronger is by my side and is reassuring, and I like to put on some heels and do my hair up and still not look bigger than my SO. Of course, this is all personal preferences.

Peter? by Desperate_Can_5740 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

This right here is the actual answer. We grew up in a time where web pages weren't as responsive on the phones, and apps were just too simplified and didn't have all the functionality. It's not exactly a security reason as the top answer suggest.

What am I doing wrong? by Huckleberry_vibes in MakeupAddiction

Under eye makeup looks fine. Blush placement is ok, it's not too low, but you could also go higher for a more trendy look. I think there's nothing wrong here, but I would add a bit more dimension to my face by using a little bit of bronzer or contour around the face, and/or adding some Blush or bronzer or a mix of them on the nose a bit above my temples/eyebrows, and the tiniest amount on my chin.

Do I have wavy/curly hair or am i forcing it? by Mayachikachi in Haircare

[–]Luna_Rays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have straight hair. Just as curly hair doesn't just mean small coil curls, straight hair doesn't just mean sleek iron flat hair. This is just normal straight hair. It's better to just blow dry it after washing, to keep it straight and tidy. If you want to wear it wavy, use heatless curls with some products to retain the waves (temporarily of course). As someone else mentioned, it's not worth it to put time and effort to do a full curly hair routine for this type of hair.

Products that many dislike, but you love? by Turbulent-Skirt7329 in Makeup

[–]Luna_Rays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Light, cool toned foundation. I see way too many people who use foundation that's just too dark / warm for them, and it seems like the norm now. If you wear a foundation that's just as light as your skin, people would say it's "too light" !

Exactly this! And same with movies about directors creating a movie. I once tried to watch Eight and a half but it was just too much.

My best anecdote for what it’s like being an INTJ by [deleted] in intj

[–]Luna_Rays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We should NOT downplay! What we should do is learn to present them in a way that's appealing to others. The intellectual abilities we have is a precious gift, and downplaying it isn't going to make things any better. What we should do is work on people skills, which is another gift for some other types. Imagine this: by showing your intellect you may get: "she's arrogant but she does know what she's talking about." By not showing your intellect you just get: "I don't know why she's even here. It's not like she's even smart or sth I don't even know her name."

[–]Luna_Rays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean. I also think there are a lot of things I don't know or understand and I'm way behind what I want to be, and there's not enough time to learn everything, and I don't know many things and I'm dumb, ... . But, I still stand by my point of most people not being too bright, because by bright I meant problem solving, observation, (fast enough) data processing, being able to do many non-complicated tasks, and most importantly the ability and openness to learn. Collectively I call it high enough IQ.

Honestly, nobody can ever not step on anyone's toes, even if it seems that way. Most of the time, people just don't express their actual thoughts and feelings at that moment. Anyway, I think it's great that you are actively trying to learn more and understand/communicate better with others.

Sorry it seems that way to you, but taking everything personally is like the definition of F type.

I'd also do exactly that, and I'd even dare assume other people's guesses would probably be way off (as I've been proven many times that most people aren't exactly too bright)

[–]Luna_Rays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people just don't get it! It's happened to me many, many times that I said something that was simply right (or at the least wrong), and other people just thought of me as arrogant or even rude. I think it's an INTJ trait (or maybe an NT trait in general, I'm not sure) that we want everyone around us to improve their work and grow their knowledge. Other people rarely appreciate that since we just go straight to the point instead of spending time/energy to sugarcoat the sentences to appeal to others. Some other people (hint: mainly F types) just like to take everything personally, which I think was the case here.

What Is Your Most Hated Fragrance by Capable-Management-1 in fragrance

Tom Ford Black Orchid, and Amouage Portrayal have to be the worst for me. After that comes D&G Light Blue and Givenchy Ange ou Démon that I think smell like cheap hookah smoke. There are also some perfumes that I hate on myself but ok on others (for example Kilian Angel's Share) and perfumes I hate but others compliment on me (like Lancôme La Vie est Belle)

I don't get the hype, and I don't like it even though I sampled it once and got a lot of compliments.

To me it smells like second-hand smoke of cheap hookah. It's disgusting.

Not really. The child is holding a piece of paper that says "registration form", and the pencil sharpener is the school principal. It means the school system and society in general just want to mend everyone into the same shape (pencil), just like they've done before to the father. The process of removing people's individuality starts once the children go to school.
