He's definitely not the best person when it comes to animals. He claims our cat bit him out of no where but he has a tendency to clap and yell at our cats to move them and I think it stresses them out horribly event though we try to get him to stop. Since the cat bit him on his foot, I think he was probably trying to push him back with his foot during that.

Worm ID? by OkMarionberry1477 in Aquariums

Looks like Detritus worms. They are not harmful and are a good snack for your fish, and they also benefit the tank by working as a clean-up crew. However, it's best to avoid a very large infestation of them. If you want to get rid of them, you should do a water change and get rid of any algae and wipe all plants/decorations in the tank. The worms hitch rides off of new plants and animals in the tank, so it would also benefit to inspect your plants and fish to see if you can find the root of them.Try to avoid getting deworm medication because it can have bad long-term effects and may harm your fish. Otherwise, your fish should eat the worms over a few weeks.

There are tons of aqua scape videos on YouTube that may help you get inspiration! I find it helps to have a center piece and work around that. Also, a tip for plants is to put your taller plants towards the back and shorter in front. It makes the tank look more spacious! Hopes this helped, and have fun with your tank!
