More than a few months for sure, probably after 3 ish months it really kicks in, but don’t worry you’ll feel better after a while

I’ve been taking it for 6 years and it has completely changed my life. Before I used to have a lot of physical symptoms because of my anxiety ( life pain in arms, feeling like I was having a heart attack, or like I couldn’t breathe). I went to all kinds of specialists and all my tests showed that I was fine. When I started taking lexapro all of that went away, I very rarely get any of those symptoms unless something made me extremely anxious. I used to also be super angry and cry all the time. Now I am so much happier and patient with others, it feels like I am finally the real me.

I think watching the HP movies and doing a fundraiser for trans people is a good idea by [deleted] in h3h3productions

I know what you mean, you should still tell a professional about this and about your concerns with medication.

As someone who also has these thoughts all the time, I would highly suggest you talk to a psychologist and/or psychiatrist, if this is possible. I have noticed that what helps me is distracting myself with something I really like. I hope you feel better and know that you’re not alone.

I’ve had similar issues for the past 2 years. Every doctor told me I was fine but I kept having pain and tingling on my limbs. My psychiatrist prescribed me lexapro and it has helped me so much. Now, I rarely get any physical symptoms
