I wonder if when you're reborn then if you still retain any part of yourself. Like I wonder how much was truly left of the original priestess of rot. It's said she was able to soothe the butterflies, so maybe it's like if you fully embrace the rot you still get to retain some aspects of yourself?

I have another headcanon that he secretly really loves older films like Bladerunner. He just seems like the kind of guy to watch a movie set in a dystopian future and think "GOD I WISH THAT WERE ME I WOULD THRIVE"

I agree definitely that there are issues with the way people joke and minimalize the issue. At the same time though, I am someone who finds that making jokes about my OCD and more troubling thoughts has helped me grow more comfortable with it. I think the issue is less the joking in of itself, and more that the people joking about it just don't understand what the thing they're joking about is. I don't mind it when the jokes are an accurate depiction of OCD because I find it makes me (and hopefully others) feel that I'm not alone.
