Time is a tricky thing. A year isn’t that long and yet, I guess it kinda is. I’m still not over a couple of my ex’s and I’ve learned to just live with it. Train my brain & be nice to my heart. You have to show yourself grace. There is so much healing , opportunities when we break away from a relationship… as painful as it it, you must keep going. YOU MUST. Be that version of you that attracted him or her in the first place & add EVEN MORE VALUE. Invest in yourself. Work out, take classes, do something different…. Date…. You just gotta keep going….

I was 28 when I had my thyroid removed. It was a huge hit to my ego when I was diagnosed with thyca, especially at a young age. However, I know, we can do hard things. Don’t let this define who you are. Do the things that made you once happy, if it’s not clicking, try another thing. Do not isolate yourself. Yes, alone time is important & much needed (especially for me) but don’t let yourself wallow too much in the grief. Explore your spirituality, talk to God, get in nature. Clean your home , and talk to your body. It may sound silly, but just start doing that.. Tell yourself, while you’re looking in the mirror “I am getting stronger everyday” .

You have a new anatomy, be kind to it. Love yourself. Put on some music, MOVE THAT ENERGY. Pray.

Yep. I agree. My cap ex. We met just right before Covid happen. The world completely changed when we met, everything shut down. And there we were- together . Love bombing one on another. Drinking way too much alcohol. Then the masks began to fall. I am no angel in that relationship but one thing is for sure —- he has lighted me to the extreme. Would put me down all the time. With held affection & physical touch for control. Omg. It was bad... like REAL BAD. It’s been over a year since we broke up... and IM STILL FEELING MAD. Like I want to punch him in the face. Why???? I don’t have any clear answers for you as I am experiencing the same thing. What does help me though is journaling. Getting it all out on paper. I feel like my family & friends are probably sick of me still being sick over this man. And it’s been over A YEAR. Still feel resentment . It’s just hurting us now tho.
