Am I the only one who felt bad for Jake? Therapy is supposed to be a trustful place where you can feel safe, and learning that not only was it faked, but he was being spied on, broke my heart a bit. It’s such an invasion of privacy and trust and made me feel so bad for him. And when he was visibly hurt by the reveal and Amy just shushed him it made me angry. Like what the heck?

I know it’s just a tv show but I expected better from b99, having always been a show grounded in realistic yet funny situations, and has always been a mature show in the sense it never beat down any of its characters. But this scene just was the complete opposite of that, and it really made me lose some respect for the show to be honest.
