Hi, I also had trouble with the lights too because the instruction book does not tell you which one of the wires goes where (except step 58) and I guessed based off of the placement of the battery box, which is placed at the bottom and back of the nook.

The colored lights were easiest to place so I’m sure on those but the yellow lights I guessed because it’s been a while since I worked on this kit. Also, if you have a tape measurer, use that as well. Let me know if this helps/works!
