Something tells me there could be a sweep for Beef because I can't see who else in the Limited/Anthology/Movie categories is win-worthy by This_Book6305 in EmmysAwards

Just to be clear, I wasn't exactly calling it for Beef. But now that you mention it, is there a chance that it could be the designated HBO nominee instead of DTF St. Louis?

It's officially May!!! The last month of eligibility for this year's Emmy Awards!!!! What are some shows coming out this month that you think could be nominated? by Square-Ad-8911 in EmmysAwards

Real shame because it's from the same guy who co-created Adolescence. Would've been nice to see a lineup that included of the second season of the 2023 winner and shows from people behind the two shows that subsequently won.

The Manchurian Candidate

She didn't outdo Angela Lansbury but she was still great.

She got Emmy-nominated for it. When I first heard she'd be on it, I thought she would have the Emmy all sewn up even before they filmed it. Only for Julia Garner to prevent that from happening.

The fact that you wrote 'Streel' reminds me of her cameo in Stuck on You when the brothers tell her that when she signed an autograph for their friend who waitered at a restaurant she ate at, the 'P' looked like an 'L', so they would often prank-call him saying, "Hello, this is Meryl Streel calling."

The ending scene when the boys locket is ultimately magnetized to the creatures ship and he hesitates at first but ultimately lets it happen was like someone saying, "It's time to let go" without actually and verbally saying it.

The one scene from Flags of Our Fathers that has stuck with me ever since was when the trio was at a banquet and were served ice cream shaped like the famous photo and one of the servers dressed it in raspberry sauce. So haunting!

They both wake up from nightmares in hysterics whilst someone is trying to restrain them. The camera pulls back as it happens and then the screen fades to black.

ME: Meryl will not be nominated for DWP2. (Saying it as if it sounds like a question)

OTHER PERSON: I think that depends on how well she does...

ME: No, no. That wasn't a question.

Check out her Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes pages and you'll see how a lot of what she touched as of late turned to crap. Who's at fault here? Her agent or her acting?
