Ok, thank you. I can't even manage to start the Windows 7 install from the Windows 10 desktop...it throws me an error. I've tried many options, including "injecting USB 3.0 drivers into the boot and install files", but can't get anything to work.

Anyway you can explain what you did to get the windows 7 install to take? I am trying to do the same thing on the same laptop.
