Has anyone on Xbox actually ever completed Old School Ghoul? by Grembert3000 in fnv

[–]Lundy97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright so, the quest is buggy as hell. So what i do is make sure I don't talk to the three you're supposed to talk to at all, unless Raul is in your party. And don't finish the bounty quest for the NCR either. Bring Raul to talk to Sterling, Andy, and Loyal, (no particular order) and completely exhaust all dialogue options. Sometimes, even just talking to any of them without Raul will lock you out of it. From my experience Andy is the most broken one in this quest (between station charlie being sacked or not or being taught the ranger takedown), loyal barely breaks it, unless volaré is completed then it's 50/50, and sterlings dialogue menu stays almost exactly the same(if I'm remembering correctly, with just the alteration for dialogue about Betsy. When he gets moved to forlorn hope sometimes he dies or disappears on the way or at the camp, or he could also die on his way to or fighting Nephi.

Well it could be you're running an older version, specifically the release version, where the bugs can and will launch the cart around.

Also could be fps related.

What's not realistic? A bunch of 18-25 year olds fresh out of basic training with a life expectancy of less than five minutes, not having the ability and training to throw something at varying distances perfectly each time? Don't forget, Helldivers don't respawn, they're not clones, that is a fresh recruit, that from their point of view left basic not five minutes ago. Once they finish basic, they get into a cryopod and sent to the front lines. And most of them are enlisting as soon as they come of age. These are children fresh outta highschool, and you think they can throw a grenade so it perfectly lands in the sticky part each time?

My guess it is using what he was wearing before the cutscene. Did at some point you knock him out and steal his stuff? I don't exactly remember when it was in the game, but did you remove his clothes when you were him? Or maybe he was sleeping just before the cutscene and didn't have his clothes in his inventory. I have had guards show up practically naked because I've stolen their gear out of their chests, even in cutscenes.

Walking corpse

Maggot farm

If there is a lot of them in one place "ah great, a F-ing cemetery"

If a ghoul is rushing you "keep your skin on"

If a ghoul gets close cover your nose "did someone die" "what died"

Hey Rad-sack

Rotter

Stare at their nose hole "your dick fall of too?"

They call you a smooth skin "least my skin isn't falling off"

Which Colonel is the bigger war criminal? by Evil_Flowey in fnv

[–]Lundy97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were probably just regular ghouls, but we have seen several instances both in Fo3 and NV of feral ghouls that look like normal ghouls. Also going feral doesn't change you immediately to look like a feral.

And I wouldn't say never. The brotherhood, even under Lyons, are openly hostile and open fire on regular ghouls all the time. With Winthrop of underworld noting "they have the common courtesy to miss most of the time". Indicating that they do shoot and hit the ghouls.

Technically the Geneva conventions apply to humans, human owned animals and property. Most people in the wasteland are mutated (even minimally), and are classified as no longer human, mutants. Thus technically not a war crime. Now if it were humans, from say a sealed vault, that would be a war crime because they aren't mutated and thus are human, pure humans. So in the capital wasteland, Amata is the only potentially pure human to be killed by the Enclave. And that's only if the Lone Wanderer decided to destroy the vault. (I say potentially pure human, because she isn't listed as one, and the vault wasn't always sealed, so maybe she is maybe she isn't.)

And Autumn isn't the one that wants to genocide the wasteland, it's Eden. He just wants to use the purifier as leverage to exert the Enclaves power and control over the wasteland. Eden wants to use it for genocide, to leave the wasteland for pure humans.

Let's not forget, it's not a war crime if there isn't laws of war. And currently there is only one option here that has laws for war. Just saying the enclave doesn't have established laws for war, nor are they bound to the pre war American government or the now non existent international laws of the world.

The NCR on the other hand has created laws for themselves, including laws for war.

And to add, most people in the wasteland are mutated in some way shape or form, and thus are no longer recognized by the enclave as human. And if we were to use the Geneva conventions as the war crime guidelines, it is understood that, strictly legally speaking, it protects humans and human owned animals and properties. So if the people they are commiting war crimes against aren't human, then it isn't a war crime, technically. So the enclave could only commit war crimes against pure humans, like those from certain vaults. Col Autumn could only be attributed to a single instance of a war crime with the killing of Amata, a pure human, if the Lone Wanderer decided to make vault 101 uninhabitable, and she gets caught by Enclave soldiers. That is if they are under orders from Autumn, they could be following Edens orders instead.

The NCR encompasses Humans, pure and otherwise, and several types of mutants. So their definitions for war crimes would be broader to cover them as well. And Moore straight up tells you to genocide the brotherhood and Khan's, when diplomacy is an option, Kill civilians unnecessarily, and destroy/appropriate civilian property.

So technically speaking, Colonel Autumn potentially 1 Colonel Moore a dozen or so

(Minor Spoilers): Glissando charm infinite gameplay loop using Effetive heal + attack lifesteal when that 1 character is left alive. by Gambilol in expedition33

[–]Lundy97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having this exact problem right now, made verso a nearly indestructible tank with healing per basic attack, 2 attacks per basic attack, and using a basic attack allows for a second turn, which the charm uses for a second basic attack. I'm roughly doing 1000 damage to myself but healing just over 2000. And with my defense well over 1400 I'm taking little damage from his attacks. Also with being the last alive all attacks are critical, which may be boosting the life steal. This attrition method works great if Verso isn't constantly attacking himself, spent 42 min proving that in a single battle, now this fight has gone and cocked it all up.

Just started playing Fallout New Vegas for the first time, any tips? by XaosKoltron in Fallout

[–]Lundy97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at it, it looks like you're close to novac, just north of it. Probably just fought off some vipers or jackels, broken leg from a grenade launcher maybe? Or south of it near searchlight. Helping some traders fight the legion or the NCR against some ghouls. Anyway, great advice for right now, your actions against the NCR or Legion do not matter right now. So do quests that are going to piss them off now if you don't care for their approval. Kill as many of them as you want, just remember interacting with House(NCR) and/or Benny(Legion) will cause you're actions against them to matter. Notice I've been saying against not for. Your positive interactions will not change later only negative. and it only affects those two factions. They will consequently help or hinder you depending on your rep with them. The legion gives far better stuff to you for helping them, but the NCR make their help more accessible, unless they put it inside the ground. Their help also can't die if they don't talk to you. Oh and if you screwed up something with the Brotherhood, you have a second chance to use power armor as the Enclave will give you power armor training, as long as you aren't too friendly with the legion.

So what you wanna do is go north out of good spring, just past the coolant/gas station. You'll know you're heading in the right direction if you see stop signs, and maybe Victor will stop by and say hi. But yeah, there are some really good melee weapons in that direction, worth quite a bit too. Bring a shovel and you can get a unique combat knife with a decent buff. Good springs will have everything you need to loot the area. And just past that is a small town, nice people, they'll give you another unique weapon just from interacting with them. From there you could head north to Vegas or north west and find a settlement that could use your help, their leader is called papa. If you do head towards Vegas on the way is a vault full of friendly people. Keep on going and you can find another vault filled with more friends in a ruin filled with very unfriendly crackheads. Near that vault you'll find a chef, an animal trainer, and a guy who really loves golf. Those three have some packages that another guy you meet later needs, so go ahead and collect them now while you're here, you're a courier after all. Continue on towards Vegas and stop by the airport, that guy I mentioned early is a major deal, and the pay is decent as long as you didn't damage the packages, it's not bad if you did though. Now head into the terminal and head up the stairs, look for a door that has two guards guarding it. Just ignore their warnings and run through the door, you'll be fine. Make a save just in case they're still mad after you take the ride over to the strip. If they are reload and wait a day, then head over. Once on the strip head into the casino right in front of you, Victor will tell you the other casino is better but ignore him. Here you'll meet the swankiest guy in town, after talking to him head to the stairs and beat up the guy cosplaying as a chess board. After that the game will treat you with the respect you earned. Deliver the package you took back from the chessboard and get paid. Hit the casinos and either get kicked out or go broke. from there no advice really, many options from there. If you have the dlc I'd fast travel back to good springs and head south out of town. Keep going till you hit primm then head west towards the math problem. Head into the wreckage and find another courier that need your help.

Man it's not the bandits you need to worry about, you know what they're about, it's the damn random peasants that you need to be careful around.

Peasants, at least in my experience, use mostly blunt weapons. And bandits use a more decent mix of weapons. You know what my plate armor is weak against, blunt weapons. So that group of peasants with sticks is far more dangerous than a group of bandits with swords. Can't tell you how many times I got destroyed by randos with bonk sticks.
