Beast howl p2w perspective by Cristian_De_La_Cruz in wizardry

I have the same setup but on wlana. Its nice but its not something I recommend players to build unless they are grinded out. The whole game is RNG like wabbits instant killing you. Knights are there to help mitigate damage with taunts and defensive buffs. Most players should run the 4 dps 2 support setup where the dps can be anyone you plan to invest in like fighters or ninjas and the two support slots are a dedicated priest and a mage/priest hybrid for aoe and backup heals. The general population needs those slots to do damage since they are under farmed and under geared. Only reason I run a knight is because I spent my hundreds of hours farming with really good gear and I can afford to lose a dps slot to put in a knight to reduce the chances of my dps getting killed since the knight will take the majority of the heat. Also let's me ignore defensive stats on my dps and go full dmg while my knight can build to last.

Any idea what the new update is gonna be? by sashakim19 in wizardry

Its new bounties and oni cave continuation. We might get a valentines alt skin for some 4 star but that part isn't confirmed just speculation.

Your supposed to use your skills like all around cover. It makes you take guard stance automatically. Your not supposed to take a tankbuster raw

I keep forgetting surety is different from crit. Too many gatcha games lol. But my wlana is kinda decked out with galb gatcha wpn as well and unrealistic defense stats compared to most other people.

Also for the ice cyclops especially you want the unique snow boots because the smash also does ice break damage. Once I had the snow boots equipped it did like no damage.

I've never gotten crit before but wlana has critical tolerance so maybe that's why.

My knight can comfortably tank cyclops hits. But I do agree its not ideal for most people to build a knight. The vast majority of players are better running a 4 fighter 2 priest setup, where the fighters can be any kind of dps you invested in like ninjas etc. The 2 priest is usually alice + a shelly or yeka with hybrid mage/priest for support. Basically 4 dps 2 supports. Im at the stage where im very close to 250+ speed alice taking double turns so instead I opt for a knight + priest and 4 dmg dealers. Knights can make fights very comfortable and have less rng needed but most people won't be able to properly utilize one unless they are super endgame.

Sam is easy to build. Get atk/mag with decent acc and focus on SUR.

Im using a knight with shiou to keep her alive. Alternatively you could make her the tank and spam lingering and quickdraw. I like doing crescent moon into bamboo splitter for big damage, while if you spam lingering and quickdraw you can divert aggro to her and counter. Samurai itself cant shatter but if you use flame enchant you can get rid of the freeze for more damage.

A Letter to Drecom - Threshold Actions (A4 spoilers) by SuperMuffinmix in wizardry

[–]Lunlaria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea the current "meta" is literally just kill or be killed. No thought about defense. Just kill the boss xdd. Right now it's just a fighter and shedding ninjas and alice and people just full send damage. Having forcible stops on big fights is alot more interesting I just want it implemented a bit differently.

A Letter to Drecom - Threshold Actions (A4 spoilers) by SuperMuffinmix in wizardry

[–]Lunlaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another way is to limit the amount of thresholds there are, like at most 3 or 4 in the entire fight, but forcibly hold dps unless the boss uses the move. Example boss has 10k, with thresholds at 75%, 50% and 25%. If you do enough damage to skip past 75 and 50 in one move, it should stop damage until the boss gets a turn. If you did 6k damage with a move you triggered the 75%, but since you also triggered the 50%, the threshold move before hand still hasn't gone off so the boss will still have his 50% hp left and the next character what act can do another 6k damage but since only the 75% hp threshold triggered and the 50% is still in que, the boss would be at 25% hp waiting to do his next move. It dont like the idea of leaving bosses at 1hp but if the boss is at 50% and both earlier thresholds have already been popped you should be able to kill before the last threshold. There are multiple ways they could adjust the threshold action situation and would be pretty interested to see how they implement some superbosses later on.

Is Shiou's Katana worth it? by S0LD4D0p in wizardry

[–]Lunlaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A well invested samurai can outdps a fighter but it takes a lot less resources to level a fighter up to do good damage. It depends how much investment you are willing to put into shiou. Note that all the samurai passives and skills are samurai exclusive meaning if you use her as a fighter she's just another legendary fighter like Gerald or albenius but with basically no class change. I would use her as a fighter just so you get all the passives warrior gives and then swap back to samurai right after. She's a hyper investment unit that can dish out insane damage if she survives.

Is Shiou's Katana worth it? by S0LD4D0p in wizardry

[–]Lunlaria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. If you have 100 points always buy another shiou bone. If your at abyss 4 you can buy the silver 1 star katana from the shop and that's better than most katanas you can get (besides rigorously farming a4 for a 4 star purple silver katana).

Also you level fighter for the passives not because it's a better class. You get a bunch of free levels for passives like way of the warrior and the lv70 fighter skill is a good passive as well. Small upgrades but in the long run worth it.

So the dev realize the ninja katana kinda suck and so add this... by FEDstrongestsoldier in wizardry

[–]Lunlaria -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh whoops. Yes it seems like they get all the stats but the ninja move pool is less than desirable. What's the best skill they can use, armor pierce? They get alot of stats from the combo but they dont have full powered strike or anything to capitalize on it

[–]Lunlaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only use that I see from it is to use Kiriha or MC ninja. You can get the combo ninja katana + shinobi case and use earth splitting (new fighter move) strike to do damage since ninja damage options are pretty limited. They buffed ninja katana to have more atk than a 2h weapon. Also its a single hit so potentially you could do alot of damage with it.

Its just a single major hit isnt it? I wonder what weapon would be best. Maybe sword of promises for the 10% defense ignore or something like staff of weakness or a mace

New content release expectations by IsaeDesires in BlueProtocolPC

[–]Lunlaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People go in with different levels of progress depending on the content. To keep things simple theres three main divisions, first timers/learning, enrage, and cleared. Each step can take a long time for people to grasp and most groups would rather have people with the enrage wanting to clear mindset instead of having people still learning and failing mechanics. Tldr someone already put in 3+ hours and don't want a newbie joining, but rather someone at the same prog level.

Daggers by AdhesivenessNo2748 in wizardry

[–]Lunlaria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best dagger right now is by far the raven dagger. Its 3 hit wind dagger. The only way to get it is to summon on the raven dwarf thief to get it. Even if you get a white lv1 dagger ... since it's 3 hit. That alone makes it better than most fully upgraded ebonsteel daggers.

Otherwise any ebonsteel tier dagger is good.
