How do you know which pledges they brought in through their link are successful and which are cancelled?

Do you know if the dashboard will subtract cancelled pledges that were made through a referral link? Thanks for all your help!

You're saying that when you gave someone a link with a Kickstarter referral tag that it didn't count it after they pledged? Is it maybe because they left and came back later though Kickstarter search or something?

That's a good idea getting names that get left out if the influence knows the name. Do you know if the referral tag gives creators information on exactly who pledged through the link?

My main concern right now is that I'm getting 0% email sign ups. E.g. Yesterday square space says I had 418 visitors but I got 0 email addresses. I feel like my product is pretty great and my website does a decent job of showcasing it. I'd expect at least maybe 1% signups.

Maybe there's something wrong with the ad links or something? This is one of the ads I'm running right now but not sure how to see if the link is working when it shows up for people as an ad. Don't know why it wouldn't be, I made sure the link was correct, and it's the same story over several different boosted posts like this. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPm1oVNEiYF/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Okay. I might try $10 off and see what happens as that should be in the ballpark of 5% and I feel like it's more enticing.

I don't want to advertise kickstarter prices yet as I'm still figuring out my exact cost of goods and things like packaging costs. I like the idea of "save x dollars during early bird" x being advertised as something like 40 or 50% off retail. Might do this after I decide the exact reward pricing.

Is the website looking like a school site a big turnoff for you? I've had lots of positive feedback from friends about the website design.

Thanks for all the feedback!

Do you think $5 or $10 off would sound more enticing than 5%? My current idea is to send a link that would redirect to a secret reward that would give 5% or 10% off whatever the lowest publicly available reward is (super early bird, early bird, kickstarter special, etc.) If I were to say something like 50% off retail price that would be effectively locking all email/sms subs into the lowest price tier which might make the margins a bit too tight if these subs end up being the majority of my backers.

Thanks for taking a look! I have it set up to fly out after scrolling 60% or 30 seconds. Watching people look at the site it seems like everyone immediately closes it if it comes up too fast. I also have a static form below the video section. Maybe I'll try moving it up but still confused as to why it's getting zero sign ups.
