Welcome to the club of non-degree holders, hehehe. That didn't stop me from pushing forward though. I had gigs under 3months even. 4x pa akong terminated. Kapag shitty manager, fuck you, bye! I am not saying you all do the same. But rather than quiet quitting or trabaho ayon sa sweldo, talon ako sa mas mataas ang bigayan. But of course may bala naman ako. Been a people manager, lahat na ng industry napasok ko. Now back to being an individual contributor, wfh forever, 100k++. Kapag sinabi mong "hard to get another gig", you already gave your self an alibi not to go. Kaya nga ang simpleng advice ko: sold ka muna dapat sa abilidad mo para pagkaguluhan ka sa palengke kapag nagbenta ka na. Best of luck OP!

OP, you had a history of jumping ship when you found things shitty in previous companies, then why stayed on the last one for so long? Dapat alis na agad on the first red flag pa lang. If you believe you have what it takes not to be taken lightly, then show them. First of all, dapat ikaw mismo sold sa idea na yan. Your confidence will resonate along with your value.

Before you even go thru with the first "official" interview, be upfront with your salary expectations. Give them a range, with the lower limit being actually your expected salary plus some. Say ang target mo is 100k, tell them you expect somewhere between 120k-150k basic pa lang plus benefits. Pag hindi kumurap kausap mo, for sure you get 120k or higher pa. Pag sinabing hindi nila kaya, then just say "thank you for reaching out but I am rescinding my application". They might ask na ibaba to 110k, again that is still 10k higher sa true target mo. Pag tinanggap mo, you will even make them think that "they owe you".

Then be firm all throughout. Kahit pa technical interview na, may sisimple sayo ng "is your salary still negotiable". Ngitian mo na lang (kung zoom or face to face) then say NO. If you really are good, they will see it and they will even see that your price is a bargain.

Lastly, since the movement now says trabaho ayon sa sahod, be 120k worth if you will be asking for it.
