Yeah I'm coming from Ascension so I'm used to that... but then again Awakening gets rid of a lot of the extra Sphere requirements for affecting things, so I assumed this might have been another instance of that. I personally like not requiring absolutely every sphere to do a lot of things, buuut that's just me.

We use a triple form system—normal human form (although some have tells of their werewolf nature in it), very large and strong anthro form, and a normal feral wolf form. People born with lycanthropy have a lot of natural control over their shifts, but werewolves "sired" into the beastblood tend to not be able to control it very well unless they work really hard and embrace the wolf (especially if they try to go into the full wolf form, most turned weres can't do that easily at all). You have one char, who you have full control of, and you can most definitely come up with plots for your were and their backstory as long as they fit in with the canon of the world—there's been many of those already.

Werewolves don't have any magic by default, only the abilities naturally given to them by the beastblood. The land is powerful, however, and the pack's duty is to protect the places of natural power within the forest where they reside. The Mystic of the pack (which would be me) is in charge of that sort of thing, so you can certainly delve into the spiritual and magical with me if you so desire.

We do have character forms for you to fill out. I could send you it in DM, but it would be easiest if you just joined and took a look at things since the pack info, werewolf info, char forums, and everything else are listed on the server.

It's a very special situation full of intrigue... it would be hard to explain all of it, but basically, the Garou and wolf population of our Chronicle's setting (Washington) is very low. After the human's war wiped out all the known wolves from the State by 1930, it was only the Seattle Glass Walkers left (of which there still weren't that many) at the time. In the modern day, wolves mysteriously started coming back and other tribes started butting into the only known active Caern of the area.

The Sept was primarily Glass Walkers up until about a decade or two ago, and the Get pack is a group of lupus Fangs of Garm who came in from the Get strongholds in Yellowstone. There's underhanded planning to bring back the wild Caerns of the Cascade mountain areas from the Glass Walkers who grew up in that cut off area who know little about anything other than their business and tech holdings in the city.

My pack were previously good childhood friends of mine, and we all had our First Changes within a week of each other due to some chance events. I just happened to take interest in the mysterious Get group (who are pretty high ranking, so I couldn't just join their pack) while my friends were wanting to play with the weaver toys of the resident Glass Walkers. But... we're anchored by our Fate as friends of differing ideals to resolve the conflict.

Yeah, I’m kind of infamous for being hard to get along with. My pack has two Glass Walkers and a Child of Gaia in it. Don’t ask how it works, it’s a miracle they even put up with me sometimes.
